Normally, I would agree with you Odd.But JUST reading through the statement by the producer of the movie, just reeked of Did Not Do The Research and Money, Dear Boy which leads to the General This Is Gonna Suck attitude.
If this remake ends up being good, I'll eat my hat.

Eh, producers are just glorified moneybags when it comes to movies. I doubt that most major Hollywood productions have producers that know at all what the hell is going on with the movie they're attached to.
