[up][up]That would have been a long title.

[up]All the cartoons have no reason to be in this special aside from popularity, really.

Man, you people got to see fun films at school! All we got here were boring edutainment stuff, like one with talking vitamins... -_-

We watched a lot of edutainment, too, but most of it was cool edutainment, like Magic School Bus, Bill Nye The Science Guy, and Newtons Apple.

Now that I think about it, a remake of All Stars to the Rescue would host various popular toons, like the peeps from Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, ONE of the characters from Total Drama that ISN'T Duncan... Um... Rigby and Mordecai, Finn and Jake...

Anyways, BACK TO TOPIC!

...I wonder how they'll handle that nightmare firefighter clown?

If this is a real thing, I am going to MURDER EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THIS MOVIE'S TEAM. RIP. THEM. TO. BITS.

My childhood is in severe danger of being ruined forever. Just...why? Why would you do something like this? sad

[up][up]I'm holding you to that, then - if only to show ME there is justice in the world... As for alll due seriousness on this, I couldn't care less - as long as it's not relaeased in theatres, I'll stick to tracking down these movies and watching them myself.

Besides, I usually avoid most CGI stuff, unless I hear nothing but goosd shit about it, anyway - this sounds like another inevitable failure, not "because it's CGI and CGI is evil"(whcih is BS, IMO), but mainly due to NOT striking when the property was iron hot...

But seriously, I almost don't blame you... ALMOST.

I have no problems with CGI itself, but with how the studios and audiences only focus on it kicking traditional animation into a well. Both types of animation should coexist fairly, but the world is stupid.

[up]It's like someone I listen to elsewhere when it comes to animation - It would take a 2D success at the box office or two for the issue of film equality in this regard to get back into gear. Trust me...

I am a bit late about this. I am not happy about hearing this. This is one of my favorite animated movies, and to see it bastardized for the modern audiences.

If people saw Winnie the pooh over the smurfs this wouldn't have happened. To all the people who saw the smurfs over pooh, fuck you. Your one of the many reasons why 2D animation has its foot in the grave. I will be avoiding this like the plaque once this is released. I wont be surprised if they take out the moral of the original story in this.

Harry Potter (the LAST Harry Potter) was released on the same day as Winnie-The-Pooh. As said here before: Disney marketers are monkeys.

You bet... Take a wild guess when Wreck It Ralph is coming out...

Yeah, I highly doubt Ralph can wreck a lame-o vampire, however, even on his baddest day.

We should take the different demographics into account. Twilight isn't being marketed to kids as much as things like Avatar, Chipmunks and HP were, and it's certainly not being marketed to video game fans.

Heck, I think Bolt got released against the first movie, and I'm pretty sure it did okay. -does research-

It had to deal with Quantum Of Solace, too? My God, how stupid are these people?

Why release this in CGI, anyways? It wasn't all that popular to begin with. Just, what's going through people's heads when they decide that it's a good idea to do stuff like this?

[up] Maybe they're thinking that they'll break new ground and become the next Pixar. Hey, it probably won't happen, but we all have our dreams! grin

I have to admit that I'm curious to see what the characters would look like in CGI. smile

Wreck-It Ralph is up against......... Hotel Transylvania? I do not consider that a strong competitor. For one thing, it's already been out in theaters for 4 weeks.

Now, if they had released it against a Twilight movie...

As mentioned, though, they both have very different audiences, so I don't think Disney needs to worry about that at least.

Ralph has the cameo appeal going for it, plus I'd say videogames are a bigger hook for kids nowadays than classic movie monsters.
