Actually I think Dorothy forms a 3-man-band of new comrades here, and the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion are just there for continuity.
Well that would explain why the commercials have hidden those new guys entirely. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, if only those other 40 books were more known to the public, they wouldn't have to keep retreading the rut we've got from the '39 movie.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatSomeone will adapt those 38 other books for film. Someday.
37. Return to Oz was a twofer.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThanks I'm not exactly an Oz Head.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I know, right? Like I said, he's not even a sinister-looking clown.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatYou know, not once did anyone mention how this movie is created by the same studio that created Dino Time in 3D, and this movie is getting a bigger commercial run than the former. So I say this one is the studio's "Ice age".
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceDoes anyone even know (or care) what Dino Time in 3-D is, though?
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Too bad to make it to America, supposedly.
Looking for some stories? And yet we still got Battle For Terra... EDIT: No, wait, maybe I'm thinking of Delgo?

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Like that's any more encouraging.
Looking for some stories?Well, Battle for Terra is at least watchable. Delgo ain't.
Not Three Laws compliant.Have any of you realized this is really called Legends of Oz now??
For some reason I saw a Z at the end of Legends, like Legendz of Oz and that made me think it was radical for some reason.
God knowes they'd want to market it that way.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt's "Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return", which still contains "Dorothy" and "of Oz", so there!
yes, i'm just saying movie execs usually think kids will buy anything if it's spelled or sold in a radical fashion. That's why every toy company for boys back in 90's usually contained a Z at the end.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIf so, we may need to catch this thread's title.
We got that, yes.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Has anyone thought that mabey the jester is working for someone else? Like in the vains of Loki working for Dr. Doom, This guy could just be serving for the loss of The wicked witch.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI highly, highly doubt this movie is going to be that clever.
Looking for some stories?Insert lack of Ozma here. That girl needs to be in more adaptations, along with Jellia Jamb, Tick Tock, and Scraps.
Apparently this is based on a book that Baum's great-grandson wrote, who was also behind that "The Cowardly Lion belonged to the Wizard" story that became that one mediocre cartoon movie.
