Lady Bug - French Anime

So the 3D Ladybuggle's were just... promo pics?

Or a one-month-late April's fool, maybe?

I remember something about there being a movie. Like, either the movie or the series was going to be 3D and the other one was going to be 2D. No proof though, so I don't know if that's true.

I remember seeing some of those images months ago on Tumblr so why was everyone upset about them again?

Because we did not see them over a month ago on tumblr.

So the thing about charging too much was just a rumor or what?

Oh thank goodness. I would have still given it a try, but... the 2D was just so charming! Glad to see this was much ado about nothing.

I thought those pics looked too "Pixar-y".

If the movie has the same attention to detail for France as Ratatooie did, I'll have no issue.

Considering it's a French-Japanese cooperation, I don't think you'll have too much to worry about.

Saw that on tumblr earlier. All of the . But apparently it's also been extended to 52 episodes, so I don't mind the wait so much.

Oooh, that's a lot of episodes.

About as much as usual season of Digimon or Pretty Cure.

And with just as much a budget for each episode as was announced before.

Still no airdate for the original French/Japanese version though. Has anything else new been revealed?

Cristina Vee said on her twitter as one of the responses, that it's planned for around September. Other than that, nothing much.

So wait, is it gonna shift back and forth between 2D and 3D animation during the show, or what's the deal there? I actually saw the 3D promo first before I visited this thread!

Apparently, from what I understand, the main episodes will be in 3D, while they'll have web episodes in 2D.

Ah, so that thing is still alive? It seems weird that the English cast is revealed first…
