These words come from the wonderful comments page of the first article.
OH GOD I KNOW IM DRUNK AND HE WAS DRUNK AND HE WAS JUST FOOLING AROUND BUT THIS MEANS THAT I HAVE BEEN R.A.P.E.D
I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.
Now realize that these anonymous people may be living in your neighborhood. Enjoy that thought.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Yeah, because anonymous people are usually really nice when other issues are concerned. People will say stupid, ignorant, discriminatory and nasty things on the internet. There is no topic at all where this is different.
I don't want to sound dismissive of actual problems, but people stating such things anonymously isn't new or surprising.
I mobidly wonder if those two comment-posters have daughters of their own, or what they would tell their own daughter if something like that happened to them. I suspect that their reactions would be night-and-day different from their comments above.
^ Quite true, sadly.

"All worlds begin in darkness and all so end. The heart is no different."-AnsemFact: People like those two posters should be shoved in a large burlap sack and drowned in the nearest body of water.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Anonymous options give people excuses to be mean.
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.What exactly are anonymous options, anyway?
People posting as Anonymous are harder to track, not terribly, depending how they're posting.(sometimes IP Addresses can be looked up so they can be banned, or reported to the police if it's much more serious)
...Also, my god, this is horrible.
Quest 64 threadoptions huh...
go anonymous, or go under a false name? or a false name and a proxy maybe?
those are options.
I'll concede that she should have slapped him though. Among other things.
Basically, the commenters have GIFT to explain their actions. Random meatcheck guy and idiot security guard? GIFT doesn't cut it there.
Alcohol might explain Mr. Meatcheck. Bad training or apathy might explain the guard.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.meatcheck?
is that someone who makes sure the meat they sell at shops and supermarkets is fresh and safe to eat? and grades them like that one simpsons special said?
As in "check my meat"?
......
...
oh i get it.

I'd like to know when the security guard was contacted. If it was right away, that's one thing, but if it's three hours after the fact, with the douche probably long gone, his response might make a little more sense.
From what I gathered by reading the woman's blog, she went outside after it occured to clear her head, and sometime later she told security.
Don't quote me on that, though.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Anonymous options are being anon and stuff.
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.I believe it was a while after that she contacted the security guard. His response is more understandable if he's saying "How do you expect me to find him?" rather than "Why are you wasting my time with this shit? Go away, she probably asked for it."
I hope she's okay. She seems to be from what I can tell.
I find it worrying how many people here seem to think violence would have been an appropiate response. I thought we got over the times when violence was an accepted form of punishment.

I hate my species sometimes.
Let's put it this way: either he was put up to do it by somebody, or he is so socially akward that he couldn't take the ton of hints she was trying to give him to back off. Both cases, he's a complete jerk, and a slap might actually serve to bring him back to reality. And even if it turns out that he has some sort of mental disorder and tries to press charges in retaliation, few judges would be willing to uphold anything against her, if what she said is true about his behavior.
I wonder if you would say that if the perpertrator was a woman.
If the Perpertrator was a woman everyone would be like DUD U R SO LUCKY U SHUD HAV STUCK IT IN HER POOPER LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!111!1!1
