Mikasa just makes that infinitely funny.

Having finally watched the anime, I can now fully say that this series deserves all the praise it has gotten. It is quite epic.

Also, was anyone else reminded of a certain Paul Verhoeven movie from it?:

Again, I say that it's a bit weird that a series like this has been in the dark for so long, since it's been in the big leagues for fuckin' years.

New extremely weird headcanon: Whenever Eren is extremely aroused, he shifts into his Titan form, regardless of whether he wants to or not.

I approve of this and there are major bonus points for Connie being involved. Because Connie is so overlooked in ships unless it involves Sasha.

Truth. Poor Connie...

Connie's a cool character, he's just only seen as Sasha's boyfriend. In reality, he's a snarky but lovable guy who happens to hang out with Sasha sometimes. He's shown to have a rivalry with Ymir, but nobody acknowledges it! That just irks me.

He's voiced by the same fuy who did Keima, GJ-bu guy, Lucifer in Hataraku, Yoh in BEN-TO amongst other stuff, if that helps.

10/10 adaptation. Only complaint is that this is the second Mikasa carrying Eren scene which wasn't included. They'll probably not include the third carrying scene as well.

And we're definitely getting Levi next episode.

Edit: Am withdrawing complaint about a Marco scene in episode 3 being excluded. There's a lot more Marco scenes and emphasis in episode 8. Manga-based and anime original. I especially like how they included Marco's rubbing his nose quirk.

The Abnormal Titan flipping out when it saw the Titan who killed Tomas was not in the manga, was it? I thought it was a nice addition.

It's in the manga. Very clearly in the manga.

Have to put episode on top because it got everything - maneuver scenes, titan fight scenes, character development (especially of Marco). Quality adaptation is quality.

It's a shame Marco dies offscreen. I wonder why Annie killed him (well we don't really know if she did, but it's implied).
