Edit: I'm de-annoning most of what I write on A03 anyways, so whatevs on that. Never admitting which prompts where mine, though.

Kinkmemes' suppose to be anonymous.

I just realized a something about this fandom that's been nagging at me - no srs bns shipping wars or just mild shipping skirmishes. I suppose it's because most of the fandom is too worried about their favorites getting eaten to launch srs bns shipping discussions.

It's the buttmonkey of this season for /a/ apparently. The quality took a huge dip at episode 3 I think?

So it occurs to me that this story is essentially a Zombie Apocalypse.

The biggest difference is that the Zombies are huge giants, and it somewhat makes more sense for Mankind to be getting their asses kicked by them (as opposed to most Zombie stories that don't use the Anyone who dies in anyway becomes a Zombie rule).

The Fridge Logic of how the Titans function is similar to the Fridge Logic of how Zombies function as well.

I thought that was kind of obvious?

I've only just started reading the series and watching the anime.

Don't worry. For some reason, it takes a while for (a lot of) people to make the connection between the Titans and zombies.

I think it's cause... zombies are usually portrayed as mindless starving beasts.

So I found out that Bertolt is actually a real German name.

I thought pretty much all the characters had "real", if somewhat obscure, names.

Apparently, Mikasa may also be Jewish.

If anything, her dad was Jewish. It's highly unlikely that she is Jewish, since that goes on the mother's side. Mikasa's mother was Asian, and there are very few Asian Jews.
