In this one, a teen-ish guy who apparently is a part of some military outfit gets trapped by an enemy in a simulation wherein his deceased girlfriend is still alive, forcing a like-aged female compatriot to venture into this and get him out—they sort of get along, sort of fight. This episode played comedically for the most part, don't know about the rest of the series. This apparently was not the first ep.

Later on in the ep, some fanservice hits. A more warrior-like female character enters the simulation along with a more level-headed guy because the crisis/premise situation is kicking up again and they need them back. The pervy teen who originally got trapped realizes his power over the situation and mind-strips the two ladies—-seconds before he is Naru-punched by both.

My searches have turned up nothing, so any help is by definition appreciated.

When you say "mind-stripping" do you mean with his imagination or with telekinesis? Was the setting modern-day? On Earth?

Should've checked the list.

It was in a future, though how far I can't say, except to have crazy-tech available. As to mind-stripping, the simulation was a Lotus-Eater Machine, meant to keep him captive by keeping him happy. Once he was made aware of his control, he perved out and got slammed, not realizing this also meant he could feel pain. He just thought about their clothes vanishing, and they did the anime fade.

How about the art style? What was it similar to, like another manga or anime? Also, depending on the style, how DATED does it look?

I'm going to say late 90's. Sorry I don't have more. I figured the simulation-trap plus the fanservice scene might be enough.

If worse comes to worst you could try either IMDB then search by date (kind of how 5camp from The Cartdriver built up his retro anime watchlist), or the Japanese wiki.

If it's not the first episode, it really sounds like the virtual world might be something only explored in that one episode.

Which means potentially we know nothing about the premise... Perverted main characters really aren't unusual either.

It would be hard to guess based on that information alone.

If ther premise is he works for a military outfit 20 Minutes into the Future that might narrow it down a bit... But probably not all that much.

Found : Kotetsushin Jeeg. Thanks. The scene was decent, but not knowing was driving me nuts.
