Sometimes that's kind of a necessity when the show in question is twenty years old.
Fanfiction I hate. It'd be kinda cool if they did like what they did with Casey Kasem in Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated or the original actor of Lion-o in the 2013 reboot of Thundercats by hiring the original actors to play as the kid's parents or give them Actor Allusions.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Too late, m8... Do you really think that the original cast have the voice capabilities to make / break a show that hasn't come out yet? If so, WHY?! Seriously. That's just fucking stupid - and not just IMHO, either.
Sure, they'll need to hire GOOD voice actors to sell the characters, effectively, but there's also how they're written and how they're handled as well. Forget these things and you have NOTHING to look forward to.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.I remembered I used to watch this show all the time when I was little! It's amazing how well this show managed to hold up after all of these years. Probably my most favorite episode was when they went inside Arnold's body for the first time. But yeah, now that I think about it, it is kind of weird that a good chunk of the episodes focused on the class getting shrunk for their adventures.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I'm talking about the characters, not the voice actors. That's pretty easy to figure out, sorry you couldn't.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)Could they just use more students who were only seen in the books?
I don't know why the series needs modernization.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Oh, okay. That's not stupid, then.
Can't imagine getting rid of Carlos. That'd be like castrating the show's humor.
Fanfiction I hate. There have been a large number of advances in science in the past 17 years since the last episode of the show was made.
Some of the episodes have held up well in that regard, some haven't.
Although, I will be sad if they remove the Arnold removes his helmet scene at the end of the space episode since Pluto is a dwarf planet now.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I hope if they do a solar system episode, that they get to visit the other dwarf planets that have been discovered, such as Haumea, Eris and Makemake. Or maybe do something involving the extrasolar planetary systems that have been discovered, too.
Yeah, if they revisit topics from the original series, they'll probably do entirely different stories. And hopefully they'll cover the dwarf planets, at least for flybys if not proper stops.

Fresh-eyed movie blogI thought there was something off about saying to keep the original voice cast, given most of them are adults now.
The only one I recognize from later work was Carlos' voice in that crappy Beyblade anime dub. Basically he went from a funny deliberately bad Pungeon Master to an unfunny normal bad one. The irony.
I can understand it, in that case.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."OMG I'm so hyped for this! I used to love this show when I was little! I can almost remember the theme song
I've always wondered when we were going to get revivals like this, with the times moving forward and all that. Another one I've been thinking of is Schoolhouse Rock, and what they might do if they made new shorts nowadays.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm sorry I was under the impression that was someone's que to upload an embedded video if the theme song
Nothing was stopping you from doing it.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you.""Pluto is not a planet, and I can prove it! *takes off helmet*"
It needs modernization because education, and technology has been modernized in general already!
My favourite characters are the Frizz and Tim. I always thought the Frizzle was so Crazy Awesome with her hair. I like Edutainment shows in general and I do remember having some of the 1995 CD-roms back then of Magic-School Bus explores the human body.
My favourite episode of the TV show was when they showed Miss Frizzle dressed as a vampire.

In an anime, I'll be the Tsundere Dark Magical Girl who likes purple MY own profile is actually HERE!
Do try to keep up.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Remember how on the trivia page for this series that it states that ... In The Haunted Mansion is a missing episode? Well, I was browsing the Netflix playlist while watching the original series to see what was what, and apparently Netflix somehow managed to find the episode and include it in its proper place in the series. Don't know if it's the same for the hour-long cut of the Christmas episode, but I probably doubt it.
Love tearing bad movies to shreds? Join us every night at 8 PMIs Haunted Mansion music-themed? I seem to remember seeing something like that at least once.
Fresh-eyed movie blogPretty sure it is.
As I said on my troper page, why didn't they make a nervous system episode? I understand why they used chickens for the "closest thing to sex ed" episode, but why did they leave out this body system?
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
I will only have a problem with this if they replaced the original cast.
