Imagined Innuendo:

  • Bob (referring to a hole in Alice's garden): "I'd be happy to fill your hole tonight."
  • (Alice slaps him)

Un Entendre:

  • Bob (referring to sex with Alice): "I'd sure like to do some chores in her front yard to take care of gophers... if you know what I mean!"

Un Entendre is someone who makes entendres that don't make any sense. Imagined Innuendo is someone who reads innuendo into things other people say.

Yeah, Un Entendre is a comedic form and distinct from Imagined Innuendo.

By the way, methinks this ought to have been discussed in Trope Talk before landing in TRS. Maybe we need a rule on that.
