Jay Joyce is also a great producer, who makes some very interesting sounds on Eric Church albums. For instance, "Creepin'":

According to many comments I've read online, this is very YMMV, but I personally find Devin Townsend's "Deconstruction" one of the best produced albums I've heard. All the elements on the album are listenable (an achievement, considering how multi-layered its songs are), and even those that are BARELY listenable are there for the audience to discover after many listens. It's also clean-sounding (even if a bit on the bassy side) and pleasant to listen even when it's metaphorically blasting your face, and manages to be loud without sacrificing dynamic range.
The last two Death albums (Symbolic and Sound of Perseverance) have REALLY good production IMO. Here's just an example:

These guys deserved way more than one hit, IMO.
Yes, it still exists, despite the Loudness War raging on so much. Post songs that you think have really good production.
