Still haven't forgiven World War Z for making a blatant mockery of the military, so I'm extremely-skeptical about this.

Yeah, I hated World War Z almost entirely on the basis of what it did to the Do D, so I'm in "Not Sure If Want" stages of thought.

The concept sounds great, it's just that throwing World War Z onboard as inspiration discredits them in my mind.

I did sign up for the beta though, so I might get a chance to see for myself. The concept sounds really good, and the hardcore servers are kind of appealing to me.

Fuckers just better not do that shit where grenades don't kill zombies and such.

You can permanently lose items you spend real-world cash on? surprised

That is a pretty ... gutsy mechanic.

The possibility of Rage Quit is high.

So, this game's getting a thrashing from a lot of people due to false advertising an alpha as a paid product without even mentioning it on the Steam page, among other problems.

The video mentioned:

Personally, I think they should have waited until they finished all the features they claimed to release with were completed.

A forum post some believe to be a reaction to the above video.

That video is brilliant. The guy is as deadpan as fuck and completely pissed off at one and the same time. Typical Brit, 8-)

Eh, I wouldn't bother with TB. He's a bit pompous. But yeah, I think anyone who buys from a game made by the same guy who made fucking Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is just asking to be scammed.

Someone clarify for me: This is not the standalone game being made by the Day Z/ARMA 2 guys?

(And I rather liked World War Z. :P)

to be fair

I had no clue this was being made by the Big Rigs guy.

And I doubt everyone who has heard of both games will know that fact.

i thought the Big Rigs guy was just sn executive producer, which means he's not entirely involved in this game's development.

Wait, this game got released?

I'm sure it was rushed to capitalize on the Day Z stuff.

-Checks info about the game-

Yup.

Wait, it's related to Big Rigs Over The Road Racing? That's hilarious.
