Transgender Tropers, Aggregate!

Forgive me if I'm being ignorant, but I still don't understand that part. What happens if you're say, a transman who dresses and acts stereotypically "female"? Are you not allowed to transition in that case?

The point is that HRT is the point where transition starts to become irreversible. As a result they need to ensure that the patient is fully prepared for that.

Some places will let you do informed consent, though, which in my opinion is worth looking into if you're positive you're trans. Personally, I'm thrilled that I got to skip all those useless and expensive therapy sessions. I feel like the therapist was expecting me to be some stereotypical "cries at her reflection in the mirror" trans woman who was on the fence about transitioning, but I'd actually been 100% confident from the moment I first came out. And now, less than a year later, I seem to have no problems passing at all. I've never regretted my choice for a second.

In fact, now that's it's summer, I've been thinking about trying on swimsuits...

I'm just going by what's in the NHS paperwork, which is what me and Bi are stuck with.

I'm not sure about RLE; from what I understand it's up to the clinic.

I know at least some (slightly older) transwomen got free laser treatment after 3 months of appointments.

Hello everyone,I hope I'm not intruding.I'm a female at birth whom is pretty sure they're a trans man.I just wanted to ask if any of you had suggestions on listening to transphobic comments from my parents.They believe whatever the media says about trans people and it's very hurtful.Such things as what Ben Carson said yesterday and that all trans people are perverts.Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't think they believe everything they see on TV. When you get old and grey like me, and purchase your first set of jade coloured glasses, you may come to think that people who look like they are eating the bullshit from politicians aren't. They already believe that, or they wouldn't buy such poorly delivered garbage in the first place.

Instead, they are afraid. The are terrified of being wrong. And the entire world is crumbling around them. Everywhere they turn, even to their own children, they are met with ceaseless challenge to their assumptions. It invalidates their culture, their worldview, their childhood, their education. It can't all be wrong. Desperate, they take hold of the most stupidly worded statements made by those with the greatest semblance of authority on the matter and shove it in the faces of their detractors, desperately hoping—needing—someone, anyone to agree with them again.

Also, Ben Carson didn't call trans people perverts, technically. His poorly worded stance was that trans people were illogical. I didn't hear his entire speech, so maybe he went on to do that.

Also technically, perversion refers to forms of sexual deviancy not moral deviancy these days, so transgender does not count, as it is not a form of sexual deviancy.

It is hard to believe anyone would purposefully conflate two groups of people together without having an agenda. If they want to hate on paedophiles, they should hate on paedophiles directly. If they seek to go through a second group to do so, they must be doing it for political reasons alone.

I think maybe you should ask them why they believe what they do, as currently it sounds like they hold that transgender is immoral without an actual reason to support that position.

Pretty sure that counts as trans. Agender is harder.
