Well, I mean it is pretty dumb to have to try to dispute a copyright claim and not have that work properly. Even if it isn't valid, it's an important part of the YT process for content creators.
By this point, I think You Tube is going out of it's way to make sure it wins their copyright battles and does not want to change.

The You Tube app on the Nintendo 3DS isn't working lately. You can't play any recent videos on it.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency
Youtube will soon change ContentID so people who dispute claims don't lose out on revenue
Monitization will remain active during a dispute and the money will be held in an account to be paid out to whoever wins the claim.
This should at least put a damper on those claiming things they don't own and reaping the profit.
Well I can imagine this helping Doug Walker because the next time they get hit with strikes, Mike can still pay his employees during the dispute clearance.

It's just me, or is Youtube deliberately feeding this annoying reaction videos virus? I mean, when I search "X trailer", it's not a reaction of some guy called Tyrone reacting to it I want to see, I want to see the trailer!

"Reactors" like Tyrone abuse the You Tube recommendation system.
They produce very vapid, cheap content that is easy to make and since it's both always about something relevant and they make a lot of videos, they will always be on the recommended videos for someone.
You see, You Tube recommends videos based on relevance and retention time, and they have both.

So like, out of the blue some time today, my Subscriptions "list" turned to Grid mode, and now I can't change it back to List. Like, the option is there, but clicking on it does nothing.
Is it Youtube changing the format again or something?
Proooobably. Either that or they're continuing the theme of "nobody's using our features we worked all those minutes to program, let's make it so they have no choice".
