Petition to bring back other characters in the next Sonic.

Izuka, in a recent interview, confirmed he would not bring the other characters back. I am very angry about this and the other characters need to come back. Who's with me?

Honestly, petitions never work. And this is probably the wrong place to make a partition. And I have no idea if this thread is kosher by the site rules.

You should complain in places the people working on the games will actually see

Admittedly, characters like Tails, Knuckles and Blaze are fun to play as, and Metal Sonic was handled well, but the rest are really just superfluous. They can be there for the story, but really they shouldn't steal the focus like they have in the past.

Shadow was all right until he got his own game. That there is probably the epitome of a side-character stealing the spotlight.

Honestly, I think his story was completed very nicely at the end of SA 2. His return kind of muddied things.

Agreed. I didn't think Shadow needed to come back. Ever. He died a dignified death and his story was finished.

Wait, first fans complain about there being too many side-characters, and now that Sonic Team finally got rid of the bunch, they want them back?

Wait, so even the likes of Tails & Knuckles are doomed to the trash heap? They were fine though. :/

Tails has been in the last few games even when others haven't so I'm sure he'll stick around. I always liked Tails.

I'm pretty sure they'll bring Tails and Knuckles back. The ones who the creators were likely talking about were Rouge, Big the Cat, the human characters, etc. And TBH, it might do the franchise some good to distance itself from the recent Sonic cartoon, that's where a lot of the negativity started (along with X Play's constant badgering of the series).

Meh, I don't care about the side characters. I'm sure he didn't mean Tails and Knuckles, the only ones I'd care about, so I'm cool with that.

They're gonna stick with "Sola-Sonica" for a while, which, considered how the main titles were received, is probably a good plan for now. That said, I'd sure love to play as Tails and Knuckles in a new Sonic platformer soon.

Everyone that's not Tails, Knuckles, or Blaze pretty much has no purpose in the series anymore anyway. Especially Shadow. Shadow can go right to hell.

I also understand now the the Sonic fanbase will never ever stop bitching and sega should just do whatever the hell they want.

Not really. It's honestly nothing that couldn't just be brought up in the main Sonic thread. The only other reason to keep the thread would probably because it's a Miru thread, and we have policy against making threads into being about a poster, don't we?
