Picked this up after a recommendation. So far, it's decent enough.
Chisato is kind of bland, really. There's little to her personality. On the plus side, she'd normally be more tsundere in any other anime, which is kind of refreshing that they didn't shoehorn that in. She does have a good dynamic with Yuuki.
I kinda like Mifuyu, even if she's a little bland too. I usually dislike the Ill Girl type, but she's not that bad. Well, as long as they don't amp up the drama based on exactly that. That's just cheap sympathy points.
I want to see more of Satsuki. She's interesting, but interacts little with the rest of the cast. Her run-ins with Yuuki are amusing.
As for the last couple of episodes, I must admit, the moment I noticed what Mifuyu wrote, that wasn't the speech, I was hoping they wouldn't run with that plot. It's the sort of embarrassment-set-up plot that led me to stop watching several sitcoms/comedies. It's neither funny nor exciting, just lazy writing. Granted, he picked it up well enough at the end, but up till then it was pretty painful.
Check out my fanfiction!Oojima's speech. I wish Mifuyu had the sense to call out to him but I guess Oojima would have stumble anyway, so it's all good.
Never thought I'd see a Madoka reference in this show.
The second half of the latest episode was a somewhat boring wait for votes whose result we could see coming from a mile away, but I guess it's decent enough.
Girls are decent so far, surprisingly enough. Satsuki is in her own league but the other girls manage to be somewhat likeable even if they're little more than character archetypes. Here's hoping that now we're done with the election we get to see more character development. Maybe some more on the Financial Aid Student's bully issues, Chisato's chocolate aversion, the teacher's thing with Oojima, Satsuki's— okay, just more of Satsuki would be nice— and Morishita too, because it seems she'll be the one to shed light on the weird things Oojima sees.
Finally, a few explanations.
I tend to grow tired of secrets that are actually known to the main characters, like Chisato's chocolate aversion. It's just keeping secrets for secrets' sake. It's fine for a short while, but dragging it out quickly becomes tiresome.
I liked the last scene with Satsuki.
Chisato should already know about how well Yuuki picks up on subtle details. At this point, all blame for not getting the message through lies squarely on herself.
The hug-pillow scene was funny, though I don't actually find him all that endearing. Yuuki's okay, though, if a little apologetic at times, as Satsuki has mentioned once or twice...
Which was the Madoka reference now again? It was too subtle for me to catch. But yeah, that was kind of amusing.
Check out my fanfiction!Wait... you missed the Madoka reference? How?
It's not like several characters spent two episodes dressed as the cast of Madoka or anything.

You know what I said about how it would be nice if there was more Satsuki? Well, this episode gives just that. Outlawjima. XD Really, the final scenes with Satsuki were the most fun to watch. And next episode will have more of that. Excellent.
Second place in terms of enjoyment was the three love interests (?) seeing the fourth one sucking on Oojima's finger. My sister was so confused by that scene.
Chisato seems to have loads of misplaced affection.
The part I wrote where I thought it was amusing referred to those costumes, so it would be kind of hard for me to miss it. Other than the obvious, assuming I've actually seen the series.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 8.
My first thought was, as always, "So, what are they actually doing?" I was a little disappointed. It wasn't as funny as it could've been.
My last thought was, as usual after a reveal like that, "Well, that was interesting."
It's a good episode that stopped beating around the bush about two major parts. One of them explained a lot about Yuuki and his relationship to Chisato, and cleared his name out of the dumb obliviousness about her feelings for him, even if he's still relatively oblivious about stuff. The other shows that some secrets do have legitimate reasons to not be revealed.
Check out my fanfiction! For once the main character isn't oblivious. Just perhaps completely unwilling to act. Which is probably worse.
So at 13 episodes I think either that will count as the end to the Satsuki route arc or we'll continue down that route.
I think it's more likely we will move on to another girl next episode. Maybe one or two more will be characterised before the final heroine.
That's just my prediction though. Although from what I've read, at this stage the characters and romance become more important than the election and club.

im torn between Satsuki and Isara
I wanna teacher route for win. Though Satsuki has clearly best body in show but that isn't most important thing, right? (ok she has also best personality, but it isn't most important thing either right?)

So what is the most important thing?
Check out my fanfiction!Relationship dynamics.
Personally I'm still hoping for a Childhood Friend ending, pending whether her character actually gets some proper screentime and development.
Then Satsuki wins there too.
I like childhood friends on occasion, but a lot of the time they just feel like roadblocks. Not really contributing to much, but stopping other developments. Chisato isn't really too much of a roadblock, which is nice, but other than in the very beginning of the series, I've not really seen much interesting about her. She's generally just there. Well, there's that chocolate secret, which is just annoying by now.
Check out my fanfiction!I'll be frank here, I don't find Satsuki an appealing character on any level.
She was annoying the first half of the show too.
As of the most recent arc her character has been developed and I kind of like her, but she's still not on my list of top heroines. But that's mostly due to the love triange with her sister and hiding in her room (admittedly kind of cute). Really that's only from the past two episodes though.
But even with all that (and especially considering it's a recent development) the Belligerent Sexual Tension winner so far is actually Oboro. I do acknowledge that Chisato is bland too, but I also acknowledge that it wouldn't be hard for any of the female characters to overtake all current contenders.
That's why I think if the winner is going to be another heroine they had better hurry up and develop her while we still have episodes left.

I think so too, though it seems that Morishita has some background yet to see (for quite long time already), but I don't think she has realy chance. (if teacher weren't her I would probably ship her instead, just beacause)
Anyway I realy wonder about real agenda of that prez. guy. He seems to have some nasty (if not right down villanious) traits.

I see potential in Morishita and her silent type character, but I think I read that she's not really considered a main or top heroine, so she has no hope.

I'm just guessing it'll be a Chisato ending because the visual novel makes you do that one before you get any of the other options.
Please don't spoil my good mood, by such disturbing ideas!
Another Shout out. It's a Delorean! I'm actually glad that movie still gets shout-outs.
A very dangerous sort of girl appears. Oojima should probably adjust his policies to say he will simply crackdown on bullying, rather than support the financial aid students in particular. Not that I think it will make a difference.
Cliffhanger thing.
The wind seemed to be blowing Chisato by Satsuki this episode. Hard to say still.
The Prez seems to be far more good then we think... I am calling him at most a necessary evil.
That Faction he is trying to suppress.... Seems down right nasty, if not malicious.
If anything.... The opening scene in episode one is because of them.
Happens to be known as Walrus Jones in other circles.Episode 8:
- Interesting reveal about Satsuki's family.
- Yuuki likes acting romantically oblivious apparently. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, but I find it funny.
- Chisato just got buuuurned. XD So the scales are leaning towards Satsuki at the moment, which I'm not against. Would be nice to see some of the other girls get developed, though, especially Morishita and Aoma.
Episode 9. Yeah, I thought I recognised that car...
Sometimes I get the feeling they just want to include Satsuki just to have her in the episode, no matter if it fits the plot or not. Could be voice actor related, could be something else. Not that I mind.
Chisato grows less and less likeable every episode now. She's got issues she's pushing onto him, and she's growing too much towards the Clingy Jealous Girl stereotype. Frankly, she's giving me Kaede vibes in her dependency, and that's just not good. I don't think I'm going to care about the sob story they're building up for her, from what I can figure out about it.
So, guessing at that someone close to her (and maybe him too) died, she did that give-half-chocolate-bar thing, but since he was dead he couldn't eat it and thus she stopped eating herself. And now she's using Yuuki as a substitute. If it's not that (or close enough), I'm probably going to be happier, so let's hope for that.
Also, new character. I kinda like her. And probably not in a way you should. Which is par for my course.

Check out my fanfiction!i think it is obvious by now that Daiki was Chisato's younger brother and he died in a car accident. Chistao is getting on my nerves now and i do hope she doesn't become a yandere. getting bad Kaede vibes as well. while i would find it amusing if Hazuki won, i doubt it will happen. being a visual novel adaptation, it has to be one of the five main heroines: Chisato, Satsuki, Isara, Michiru or Mifuyu.
Also nosebleed.
