The in-depth video sold me on the game.

Gotta say the leading lady does bring Stripperiffic to new heights yet again. There's no way you can even compare that. That's the kind of outfit people joked women would be wearing soon when they where talking about Ivy's original getup. Hell, even discounting that half the cast still looks like they're wearing bondage gear.

Bleye knows Sabers.Yeah, the outfits are pretty out there, but I've really come to enjoy the rather over the top character designs.
Also, Shirow, since you've taken such a liking to Allegro, here's a video that features her in action:
She can be found at the 0:45 sec mark.
I'd rather have ridiculously overdesigned or incredibly gaudy outfits than boring cookie-cutter ones, that's for sure.
There needs to be more games that weaponize The Power of Rock.
Bleye knows Sabers.I've already got the three songs featured on the Japanese website stuck in my head. I sincerely hope those three songs show up on the bonus CD. Marketing must take responsibility for driving those tunes deep into my consciousness.
"Ali Vava" and she's a thief, heh.
The fact that one of the unlockable character's name is Mr. T sold me on the game . That aside, while I'm not too big on action-type games (I tend to suck at them), the battle system looks fun.
I'm being reminded of Muramasa The Demon Blade. That is a pretty good thing in itself.
I have successfully snagged by best friend's interest, so it will definitely be a game he looks into once he finally picks up a 3DS.
I would love to support this game, if only because Atlus needs all the support it can get, but, I highly doubt that my wallet will allow that, since my budget is pretty tight (Usually, I only buy 4 videogames max in a year, that bad), so I need to be convinced that it will be worth it.
Now, to watch those videos...
This game looks great. Definitely pre-ordering it.
There's only one good thing about Mary Sues... they don't exist in real life. The game has been rated T by the ESRP for "Fantasy Violence" and "Partial Nudity". That's about what I expected.
This is definitely on my "to buy" list. ...however... um... that'll be done online. I wouldn't be able to look the cashier in the eye.
i. hear. a. sound.I had to work up the courage to buy Dead Or Alive Xtreme fanservice. You know what? It was worth it. Best boobie physics ever!
Although at least for this game you can legitimately say you'll play it for the gameplay Honestly Metal-stringbikini Mclargetits seems to be the only female character that's truly Stripperiffic so far. I wonder how they'll try and justify it.
Bleye knows Sabers.I've pre-ordered my copy at a local Gamestop and I'm picking it up in person proudly.
The game has a very 'indie' vibe to it, especially the flat translucent explosions like those so many doujin game makers are fond of slathering all over the screen.
The full English language website is up. In addition, Atlus has posted a Character Showcase Trailer with our first listen of the game's English dub cast.
First of all... Allegro is a guy!?
Second of all, the new cast was a bit jarring at first after watching the Japanese videos over and over again, but they're quickly growing on me.
Third, anyone else catch Solange saying sorry as she slashes at a monster?

I liked Allegro the best.
And it looks like they changed Mister T to Master T. Awwwww.
Also, October 9th confirmed, according to ATLUS' Facebook.
This looks amazing. Also, wow, that's more of a slavery bikini than a princess garb but whatev, I'm sold.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.So Solange is Pure despite her laughable wardrobe, Allegro Leans on the fourth wall , Ali is a cynic, Zozo is an undead Valley Girl, Tsukikage's a Casanova samurai, Marco-Neko is a talking egyptian cat with a Money Fetish, Master T is a musclebound badass submissive and Sister Hel is fetish fuel overzealous. What a crew.
God bless you, Atlus.
Bleye knows Sabers. Here's some spoiler free impressions on the game.
Reading this just made me want it even more, if that's even possible at this point. Multiplayer sounds really fun, though I hope it performs smoothly.
Literal birthday release for me? Nice.
I must get this game. It's going to be so awesome.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! You piqued my attention at "spiritual successor to Guardian Heroes."

This is a game that fell under my radar until fairly recently when it was recently announced that Atlus was bringing it over around the time of E3. I quickly went from mildly interested to rather addicted within the last couple of weeks. It's a beat-em-up with RPG elements put together by the same team behind the Sega Saturn game Guardian Heroes, and in fact has been described as a spiritual successor. The character designs were done by Kinu Nishimura of Street Fighter fame.
Here's a spoiler free overview that goes rather in depth on game play and the "misson" structure.
The game has a story mode, free play, and multi-player both local and online for up to 4 players. In the game's story mode, you can initially play as 1 of 4 playable characters:
There are also 4 other characters who are unlockable, with up to 50 characters playable in multi-player including enemies and NP Cs. More info on the characters can be found on the website.
There is also a nice pre-order/first run bonus: The Sound and Visual Book, which was also available in the Japanese release, is a CD containing select tracks from the game housed in a booklet with a few pieces of art. I've already got mine locked in.
Now enough of my rambling, here's the cute and catchy OP. (Also somewhat NSFW)
