Let me try this again.
Anybody want a game?
Give me ten minutes and I'll be there.
Alright, room's up.
I'm not seeing it. Did something happen?
Edit: Probably quicker just to go via Cockatrice chat.
Later edit: After action report: Both my decks performed excellently. WBG lifegain is surprisingly scary, and UBG Saboteur somehow managed to force a concession.

So, I'm thinking of expanding my card collection and I'm wondering what I should buy.
Any ideas?
Fat Packs are usually a good choice because you get 9 boosters, some Basic Lands and a neat box to store everything. Holiday Gift Boxes are cool, too, it's a bigger box with plastic dividers and only four packs, but you get a promo out of it.
If you have a lot of money, though, buying a whole booster box will probably be the best choice.
They call it the Rumour Mill because every time one specific guy posts I definitely feel cards going from my library to my graveyardI'd rather not spend a hundred euros on cards.
I'm not that crazy about Magic.
Then don't buy a booster box, go for one of the other two choices.
You can always buy Duel Decks, Clash Packs or Starter Decks, too.

How's the Deckbuilder's Toolkit?
That's a fine question, I'm not sure. They seem sweet if you're looking to get a number of cards, but I don't know if they're worth their cost in card value, maybe someone else can help.

They have tons of lands and commons/uncommons and a bunch of boosters to make up for the price. I highly recommend them.
It depends. I'm just getting back into the swing of things after 10 years, and I plan to mostly get fat packs since the boosters can be used for Limited play. I think I'm better off sticking to Limited until I build up a collection, at which point I can ease into Standard by getting singles to fill in holes (I have no interest in Modern). Although Limited is just more fun in general IMO.
But if you're really basics of basics just starting, seriously, go to your LGS and ask if they have sample packs; they're ready-to-play 30-card decks distributed to stores to give away for free to those interested in Magic, particularly those who got hooked on Duels of the Planeswalkers.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.I already have an M15 Intro Deck.
This is just so that I can improve my deck, and maybe build a new one.
You could try to go to a pre-release, you'll get six-ish packs from the get go and have a chance at winning more.

If you're European, magiccardmarket.eu is a good place to get cheap cards. It's a free marketplace where you can order stuff from various professional and individual sellers. I personally get the cards I really want and don't get from the prerelease or drafts there, as well as hock the expensive ones I don't need. (Yay, fetchlands!)
Anyone up for a game?
I can go for a round or two, but not much more.
Room's up.
Edit: So apparently my Azorius saboteur deck is the worst deck anyone has ever run, ever. Which is kind of ridiculous given that it only has like five cards in the entire thing with a CMC of five or higher, yet I consistently got those and no lands.

I have to second the pre-release, the Khans of Tarkir pre-release won't be too far away.
I'm tempted to get two kits at pre-release to try out Azban and Temur.
I have a terrible new deck I'd like to try out. Anyone up for a game?
Sure thing.
Room's up.
Note: Although Jeskai is referenced in the name, the deck is not actually a Jeskai deck.
Edit: So it turns out I need to put in some tutor effects like Fierce Empath to make my Leviathans deck not utterly terrible. I can probably loot a couple from 5C Dragons; they already have a ton of cost-reduction and ramp.

What is Cockatrice?
It's an online Magic client we use to play online a bunch. It can be downloaded from here.
I could see that working well in commander as part of a Jund deck. You ramp for a Fireball/Disintegrate/Balefire/etc. Then play him as a giant.
