Looks pretty decent. But I think I'll reserve my thoughts on Tyler Perry til I see the film. Matthew Fox however will probably own the whole film.

Also Dr. Cox is there so yay.

I'm not a fan of Tyler Perry, but it does look pretty good. Although I can't help but think it would be better if they completely reshot all of Perry's scenes with him dressed as Madea. No changes to dialogue or anything, completely straight-faced, just.... Madea.

Also, WUBWUBWUBWUB

One question, if I may. Where is Morgan Freeman?

I knew Morgan Freeman, I watched penguins with Morgan Freeman. You sir are no Morgan Freeman.

Kiss the Girls was a wheezy Ashley Judd thriller, just like all the other crap she's done. Along Came a Spider is the worst movie I've ever sat through, no bullshit.

And now we reboot the Alex Cross character, starring Madea himself? Am I being punk'd?

[up]I take it you never watched Se7en, Chain Reaction or Wanted? None of what put m'sieur Morgan in a good light, as none of the characters he played in those movies were what one could say as positive.

What's wrong with Somerset?

You had your pick of Street Smart, Shawshank Redemption, and Deep Impact and you go with Somerset as an example. Strange.

The only Alex Cross book I read is Along Came a Spider, which I thought the movie adaption kind of sucked. I like the idea of a young Alex Cross better, Morgan Freeman playing him was just weird.

Never saw Street Smart. And Somerset just stood there and watched his partner shoot John Doe several times and failed to stop him. Yeah, I know, extenuating circumstances, but cops don't get to have those.

Do you work for Internal Affairs? It would hamper watching cop movies, I think.

Because we all forgot this movie was coming out

Here's a bunch of clips.

I'm rather annoyed by the fact that they keep on covering up that Cross's wife gets killed (they even have that scene here but cut off as Cross runs towards her when it appears she's about to get shot), yet most of the plot is fueled by this plot point (not to mention how much it is mentioned in these clips)

We'll see how Tyler Perry is as an action hero. Sometimes you'd be surprised at who can pull it off.

I've recently watched a film where Ice T was in a action hero situation where he was being hunted by psychotic hunters in the woods. He pulled it off well.

You can get what you want and still not be very happy.

Wait, so Alex Cross is Morgan Freeman's character from Along Came a Spider and that other movie? I had no idea.

This film was pretty good as far as serial killer thrillers go, Perry really impressed me with his acting ability, Matthew Fox not only looks impressive physically but is scarily convincing as a Complete Monster, the supporting cast does well enough, but they're kind of overshadowed, the film does get a tad silly at times, and the final fight between Perry and Fox had a bit too much shaky-cam(though it wasn't as bad as say Bourne Supremacy in that department), overall I was impressed and i'm interested to see Perry in another Alex Cross film.

I thought it was rather generic and by the numbers, I can't really say I was surprised or disappointed by it.

Critics are hating it. A shame, the trailer looked good.

Saw the movie. Fairly good.

Rachel Nichols plays a Forgotten Fallen Friend. My only nitpick.

With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptation

Guys despite how much this movie has failed.

It's still coming to Aus. I saw trailer for it with Paranormal Activity 4. It comes out Nov 8.

Might watch it at least for Matthew Fox's performance.
