Hello! I'm hoping to add a link to the tearjerker page for Brave, and was wondering on how I would add the icon. Thank you!

Just create the page at TearJerker.Brave, set the type to "subpage" (I can do that for you if you wish), and it'll show up automatically.

Edit: Interesting, the page already exists. I wonder why the icon doesn't show up; it does in other places, e.g. Creator.Pixar. There isn't any way that I know of to add it manually.

[up]The issue is that the icons are case-sensitive during the page creation. If you made the page with Tearjerker.Brave, it won't show up. You need to create the page on TearJerker.Brave

To fix this issue, cutlist the page, ask for it to be unlocked, then create at TearJerker.Brave

Telcontar, I would be so happy if you did that. I would probably set something on fire if I tried it.

Septimus Heap, thanks for the information. Who would I ask to unlock it?

I think the TearJerker/ and NightmareFuel/ icons should be automatically added to work pages - just like Awesome/, Heartwarming/, and Funny/ are.

[up] They are, and both have icons. See, say, Harry Potter — the tear is, well, Tear Jerker and the weird face is Nightmare Fuel.

I've cutlisted the existing Brave TJ page. The content is copied below, for ease of recreation once the page is wiped and unlocked.

  • Merida tearfully apologizes to her mother after she doesn't immediately turn human after the second sunrise. Becomes heartwarming when she actually does.
  • Merida desperately trying to get out of the tower, only to sink into the ground in despair. It was temporary, but it was horrible to see Merida so broken.
  • "I'll always be right here." Here come the Water Works.

TearJerker.Brave (with correct capitalisation) already exists.

[up]Did you read my post? The issue is that the icon isn't showing up because the page was created with the wrong capitalization. It needs to be cut and recreated under the correct capitalization.

It's exactly the same page as Tearjerker.Brave — check the history — but since the page was created with the wrong capitalisation, it doesn't work. I tried editing TearJerker.Brave, to see if that would convince it that the capitalisation didn't matter, but the icon still doesn't show up. I remember the cut/recreate thing being done with a Headscratchers page in the past.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

Restored, and now it's showing up.

Thanks, Meta Four.
