Injustice: DC fighting games

First mobile footage showing Flash, Hal, Cyborg and a resurrected(?) Scarecrow.

Injustice ivy is a big improvement over Arkham Knight Ivy.

But MY LORD, Catwoman looks UGLY. Dat jawline....one of the worst looking catwomen I've seen.

... I think the problem is they didn't want to go FULL anthropomorphic catgirl so they went half and half...

Catwoman has never been full anthropomorphic.

Cheetah has in the past, though my favorite version of Cheetah wasn't anthropomorphic.

I prefer the Priscilla Rich version of Cheetah. The anthropomorphic version was Barbara Ann Minerva or Sebastian Ballesteros but he was removed from continuity with the New 52.

Oh in Injustice and Injustice 2 it is the Barbara Ann Minerva version of Cheetah.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure

Cheetah's animations look janky even for NR. I really wish NR stepped up on their presentation polish in regards to animations. They're always so clumsy and stiff looking. Oh and music. I swear the music in their games now feels nonexistent majority of the time.

Really not feeling that Scarecrow. I hope they had his usual rags, coats, and a hat as gear. Flash and Cyborg look as expected.

I also hope they showcase the new ladies in the stream since we didn't get a good look at their gameplay in the trailer.

Re:mobile leak: I was looking forward to Scarecrow, but that design is just... weird. Least because of how lumbering he is and the fact that his current weapon of choice is a sickle. Maybe he's used sickles before but I'm too used to scythes and pitchforks at this point.

I noticed during the brief footage we got of him, that his forward dash has him plant one hand on the ground as he hops forward. It's almost feral or beastlike in appearance... I really wonder how he's going to play. The playstyle I had envisioned him having doesn't seem like it'd fit too well with his current design.

Remember that Scarecrow was the first one to die in the Injustice comics. Joker sprayed gas on him to steal some fear gas for the "Trick Superman into killing his wife and unborn child by dosing him in fear gas and leading him to them". Him coming back wrong would fit his new look.

Wouldn't be the first time he's all weird looking. Wasn't there a story where he was a monster or something?

I wonder if the stage transitions will be as over the top as the first game's? A lot of those were more comical than epic especially with the music notes playing on each impact, making it seem almost Looney Tunes-esque at times.

There's also Arkham Knight's version of Scarecrow, where he looked like a walking corpse.

It's been 3000 years…

I'm actually okay with his weird look, though I'm gonna see if I can make him look more like his classic farmer gothic design. I've always preferred a Scarecrow who looks, acts, and talks in creepy ways while using a scythe or sickle over one with a bag on his head and just fear gas.

He has a sickle in most of the art.

So people were theorizing this to be the case for {CHARACTER GOES HERE} and apparently the mobile game confirmed it? It was an interesting theory so if people hit it dead-on then... how about that.

The theory that may or may not be proven in question: Injusticeverse Scarecrow is the new avatar for the Black, which is a force of decay and rot that opposes the Green represented by Swamp Thing.

You know what, just give me some Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry inspired gear. Perhaps throw in some Superfriends or Batman 1966 gear as well.

But back to the original question, I think transitions in the Gotham area, Atlantis, and the train transition in Metropolis fit the bill so far.

So, I've just realized that I truly am a nerd. Because my first reaction was the incredibly pedantic "most of those aren't actually Looney Tunes sound effects."

It got me when I first heard as well, but I liked it for the mere attempt on the idea. Still, I'm hoping some other user could do a more faithful version back when Machinimas were really popular.

I swear a lot of those were in Earthworm Jim haha. Funny video though.

the transactions seem a bit less comical though no less extreme. I think the musical beats in the first one unintentionally made it funnier.

So, do we know for certain if there will be any more premier skins released after the game launches, as DLC? I'm just hoping there's gonna be more than Reverse Flash, John Stewart and Power Girl.

Yes. There's evidence of Premier skins switching characters out for their CW versions and more.

Swamp Thing's Trait is of particular note. It's called Abigail's Garden and causes him to create patches of flowers wherever he walks. As long as enemies are standing in the flowers, they'll have reduced speed and lose the ability to dash or jump. Combine that with Swamp Thing's multitude of command grabs, and...
