Injustice: DC fighting games

smokey: The only one of those I think is even remotely possible is Captain Atom, and he's a long shot.

I'd love to see Captain Atom, if only to see him quantum leap his opponent into the future as a special.

I doubt he'll make it to the initial roster, though, especially since the leaks indicate Firestorm is in, which makes it redundant.

The character reveal got pushed back a week(or it's happening at the stream instead).

Frustrating that there doesn't seem to be a given reason for the delay. If the date were a mistake, wouldn't they of caught it at some point this past weekend?

...oh well. Either way, today should be a happy day for Black Canary fans because IGN has a gameplay breakdown for her. It should give a general overview into her playstyle and a few of her tricks.

Another Watchtower stream has concluded. If you missed it... you didn't miss much, they were just playing the online beta the entire time. That said, we DID get a few tidbits out of it:

• Premium skins! So they say, they are selected via the shaders menu. Gear will still change up your stats, but it won't physically show up in combination with the premium skins.
• At some point (hopefully) later this week, Black Canary will be added to the online beta.
• The next character reveal is still on track for Monday. The 2.7.17 date on the site was an honest mistake.

Bleh, I was hoping I'd be able to actually customize Powergirl and Reverse Flash, beyond stats.

Really? Because I fully anticipated this the entire time. Like, I didn't even consider that you would be able to apply armour to the skin characters, because that would require double the assets for a single character.

I'm loving how those vines of his move. I'm no animator, but I'd imagine whipping motions are really hard to get looking right.

Oh shit that looks fun. I was on the fence about him being playable before, but he looks really nice.

I wonder if he'll have a palette based on Black Orchid.

2 things:

1) Did Ra's Al Guhl ever meet Swamp Thing anywhere?

2) Has anyone noticed that when Swamp Thing crouches, he lowers the entirety of his lower body down into the ground?

I don't think anyone else has done that, and yet it seems very appropriate for a guy like Swamp Thing.

Swamp Thing looks fun to play as.

Ra's al Ghul is a connective thread for the DC Universe - around long enough to meet/know/fight several different heroes. His organization spans across the globe so it's easy to Hand Wave that he knows someone from somewhere.

There was a funny scene in Arrow where the current-Ra's walked in with the episode's Plot Mcguffin and the main characters question how he obtained it, and he just turns and flippantly states, "I'm Ra's Al Ghul."

If I had to guess.

Alan Moore's Swampy would never say "I was once a man", because, well, he never was. And he was okay with that.

I don't think that was an immediate Issue #1 development. He might have said something like that before The Reveal.

He learns it by the second issue of Moore's run, which I own, and no, he never says that there. It's from the TV show.

Don't accept flowers from Ivy today.

This reveal also shows a slight inaccuracy with the leak: Cheetah is her own character instead of Catwoman's skin.

I hope this doesn't mean Mr. Freeze will be a separate character from Captain Cold.

Based on what a pro player apparently has been told about the leak Freeze is a premium skin. He knew Cheetah was a real character a few days ago.

Catwoman being back isn't surprising - someone at Netherrealm very clearly likes her, at least superficially - but I hope they don't screw her up as a character for the third time in a row.
