A real cyberpunk game needs a high quality skull gun from Germany.
It probably will, we are already seeing some Cyberpunk technology staples in that genre already like the brain upload stuff or whatever those cords attached to those peoples heads are (that got them subsequently fried).

Those "bright and clean" areas might just be in the rich, corporate parts of town though. It IS a cyberpunk game after all. We haven't seen the sprawl yet.
Yeah totally hyped now.
Ultra: Sure only if we get the rest of that works tech to which was pretty wild.

Who watches the watchmen?Tangent but I gotta take a moment to say I really love the car.
It is a really cool car. Hope we get to drive it often
An closer look at female V that I found on the official website.◊
I find it kinda amusing that V here looks a lot like Sombra from Overwatch. She is one of my favorites from that game.
Also apparently Night City is in my home state, California, although it doesn't exactly specify where but judging by how Night City looks its likely based off Los Angeles.
Given how shitty Los Angeles can be at times? Wouldn't surprise me if that IS the city of angels, and the community decided to change its name due to bad PR, or some megacorp buying the rights to do so.
I have been to Los Angeles many times, seen how nasty the poverty is over there and seen how desperate people can get over there. I also have family that lives in one of the bad neighborhoods. It's also an very mixed city culturally and I know a lot of folks came there to try their bets at making their own fortunes. Despite all those obvious parallels that's not what tipped me off that Night City might be based off of the City of Angels.
Night City visibly looks like LA only more scaled up with future tech to me. Like I get the same feeling by looking at it.
That's not a bad thing at all just find it very interesting to note. Could be based off another city though for all I know. I haven't been all around Cali enough times to remember how everything looks.

Oddly I was thinking the same thing. It has that bright California city scape grunge. God there was a part that looked like the future main drag of Ocean Side.
Who watches the watchmen? Its a very interesting setting, not what I expected.
I'm just holding out for that Ciri cameo they teased.
Well I'm stoked. Those hidden messages are cool. I like how they've gone the Shepard route.
Looks like it's gonna be interesting.
Will we get s choice between orange soda.. Or lemon lime?
Heck yeah, I'm looking forward to this game.
I've always been a huge fan of the Cyberpunk genre more than the fantasy genre, so I can't wait to see what the team behind The Witcher 3 will do for this game.
Major character from Witcher III. She was born with powerful magic that lets her hop between different worlds, and before the game starts she's been on the run from the baddies (Elves from a world where they're the dominant species) by hiding out in distant universes.
When you finally find her she mentions that she visited a world where people "had metal in their heads," "everyone had their own flying ship," and "they waged war from a distance, with things like megascopes" (megascopes are basically magic TVs).

Something I'm looking forward too is that you can instal translators to understand other people's langauages but if you instal a pretty cheap translator then you'll have a hard time understanding shit compared to if you get a high-quality translator.
A level of immersion that just excites me.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Don't count on any Ciri cameo, it was nothing but a Shout-Out to their next game.
Ahhh that sounds pretty interesting.
I like that as well
I personally have really fallen in love with cyberpunk and sci-fi over the years. While I don't mind fantasy it does feel like fantasy these days is really over saturated.

Yeah, like I've said, Cyberpunk and sci-fi has always been my favorite genre, so I am really glad to see a new game with that flavor. Witcher 3 is a great game, but it just doesn't hit that spot for me in terms of the setting.
And to think some people are reacting badly just cause of a little sunshine.
Apparently having a little bit of light & energy automatically makes it a bad cyberpunk.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Cyberpunk is mainly known for being rainy and overcast, so it is a bit jarring to see the sun.
Psycho Pass has a very colorful while simultaneously gritty setting. Takes place during day and night so.
Those guys are just looking for reasons to bitch about something. More cyberpunk games is always welcome in my eyes.
The last one we got that wasn't an bar game was RUINER

Alright we got a gorgeous local & character customization.
Now all I want now is a ton of cybernetic customization.
Like a scorpion tail, I really want to equip myself with a scorpion tail.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
