DAMN IT ODD, I WAS GOING TO SAY THIS WASN'T THE DROID THREAD YOU WERE LOOKING FOR.
It happens to me on my tablet. I think its just the processor just quitting cause it can't take the load of all the pages.

If it gives you a 'force close' option, then yes.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.Nope—it works perfectly fine one second, everything loading, and then it just quits out as soon as I start scrolling.
Huh. The weird thing is, though, Amazon is the only site it does that for for me.
@Rigorous: MUAHAHA
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Usually that means your phones processor can't handle everything that's going on with whatever app you're using.
It happens to me with way more games than I'd like.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Still weird, since Amazon isn't necessarily the most technologically complex site there is.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Does that happen only on amazon? No other sites? Try opening other possibly demanding sites and see what happens.
I don't personally own... anything with an I in it, but its what I would do.
Only on Amazon and only on the desktop version of the site. No other websites do this.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. Then it may be a problem in how your browser reads the site. Can you change it?
I haven't a damn clue son.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Well, its not from apple, so if we live in a competent world you should be able to use another browser in it.
Well, there is the VZ Navigator on it (though I question how the two differ), and I have seen in the market that Firefox is available for this device, but I'm hesitant since I really am wondering whether or not it's even worth it to worry about it. Might as well try it out, though.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I use Firefox everywhere else, but I was really disappointed by Firefox Mobile's performance. I'm using Dolphin, with Opera installed as a backup because Google crippled animated GIF and Opera's the only browser I know with a workaround.
Fresh-eyed movie blogMy only experience with Opera is on the Wii and various DSes, but I've heard it's good otherwise. I've heard of Dolphin, but I wasn't aware it's a browser. How is it?
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. What do you know Dolphin from? I first heard of a program called Dolphin as a file browser for Linux, but I don't know if this is at all related.
I think Dolphin really wants to be an OS. They're constantly pushing the addons, and in the latest version, you can't get rid of the voice input module, just ignore it.
But the interface is otherwise pretty well thought out.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI think from someone mentioning it in a thread somewhere on here. Had no idea what it was though.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. When I try to highlight spoilers, it just colors the white bars orange. No spoilers are revealed.
That's just because of how highlighting on a Droid works. Same thing with an iDevice.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. If your mobile browser can't accommodate a javascript workaround (I use Dolphin Browser, which doesn't run the iDevice script and can't use Greasemonkey), your best bet is to copy the text and paste it in a text box. I usually open an add post page and put it there.
Fresh-eyed movie blogSee, I just set it so spoilers are automatically visible. Simple.

Ain't that the gosh darn truth.

Before I go on, <insert Star Wars joke here so no one else can make the reference>.
Okay, so, every time I go on the Amazon desktop site on the Browser app on my Droid X, the app decides to just suddenly exit out out of nowhere and get rid of all my open tabs. Does this ever happen with anyone else?
