Strange sense of morality?
Like what?

Well, just the typical "selfish kid interests".

Enough to become depressed when I hit 13

3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541I really liked this show after the second season when everything got established properly.
Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.I love this show. It's my opinion that this show really, really knew its target audience well and gave them exactly what they wanted*.
Of course, I grew up with this show, so I might be blinded by the Nostalgia Filter.

I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...Maybe it was because I could never get into Recess, but I love this show too. And I was a teenager when I first started watching it!
The first episode that comes to my mind was "Op MUNCHIES," when Sector V breaks into a supervillain supermarket to extract the last box of cereal. 11 minutes of hilariousness and badassery.
Admittedly about fifty percent enlightenmentCaveman too.Did Roger Rose voice father, or was Lauren Tom all of the Delightful Children!?
Magic people, voodoo people!Maurice La Marche plays Father and three of the V As for Sector V play the Delightful Children (I believe Lauren Tom, Ben Diskin, and Cree Summer, but I could be mistaken).
Admittedly about fifty percent enlightenmentCaveman too.I heard Cree Summer among the Delightfuls as well.
Magic people, voodoo people!yep, she's one of the delightfuls (i believe the girl wearing glasses)
i've already did some drawings!
a drawing i did of numbuh 3 and numbuh 4
a drawing of my favorite character, numbuh 5
I don’t even know anymore.Bumping this thread.
Did anyone watch this show growing up? I'm binge watching it on You Tube now.
It was an awesome show. Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 5 are my fav heroes, while the Delightfuls & teenagers are my fav villains.
Operation Zero and the Billy and Mandy crossover were my two favorites. Also the "Slamwich" episode and that crazy cat lady.
Operation Zero was one of those weird cartoon moments where the characters were given a strange amount of depth and you can't help but look back on it and smile. Nigel's father being Numbuh Zero, and giving that up so that he could raise his son - that was a tender moment.
And of course there was always this gem.
Haven't watched it in years but I recall there being a decent story arc with Numbuh 274 and Numbuh 5's sister, Cree.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I really liked KND growing up. A good cartoon with nice humor, great action and even some good dramatic moments.
I guess my favorite episodes would be when Sector V are at the supermarket with the villains and the episode featuring Maurice. I also like the episode when Numbah One gets transformed into a vampire.
Operation Zero was really good. Sector Z were awesome. The Billy and Mandy was cool too.

The KND theme remix for OPERATION: Z.E.R.O. was absolutely amazing.
but HOW?I loved Operation ZERO, because it gave some villains a lot of depth.
I also love the CAKED episodes.
@Soble Y'mean the one which have a stinger at the end of an episode where Cree is the villain that depicts her loss as Xanatos victory to get her one step closer to the moon base so that she can send it to the sun . . . only for Numbuh 274 to beat her to a punch on that plan in a desperate attempt to not be decommissioned due to the rule that states nobody over the age of 13 can be a KND operative thus nullifying that story arc being built up. . . which turns out the whole traitor thing is all part of the covert Teen Agents program where really skilled KND operatives retain their memories and infiltrate the teenage ranks to help the KND cause and since Chad is the best of the best the whole betrayal is all part of the plan to get the teens to trust him easier thus making him not a traitor at all and actually saved the organization from being destroyed by Cree.
Holy fuck, for a deflated story arc it got real complicated once Chad enters the picture.
And yeah Operation ZERO was an awesome film. Looking back a lot of the Cartoon Network films were pretty good. A shame that only Powerpuff Girls received a theatrical release. I would of really enjoyed seeing The Big Picture Show in theatres.
I'm pretty sure it only got deflated after The Reveal. No, up until the episode that revealed the Galactic Kids Next Door Chad hadn't shown any sign of being a double agent.
I liked the GKND/Illuminati story arc but boy did that 274 twist make the 2nd-3rd seasons awkward.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Yeah, Chad not being evil always struck me as an obvious retcon that killed a lot of conflict in hindsight.
Agreed about Chad.
This show was a little grating at times, but for the most part it really is just fond memories. It really pulled off character moments well, and the send of for Numbuh 1 is enough to get you legit emotional. I've never cried but it stirred stuff up, and for the kind of show it is, that's amazing.
In fact:

Honestly, besides the rocky first season, I'd say this show is kinda the apex of Cartoon Network's programming in the pre-Adventure Time/Regular Show era. It has potentially some of the best character writing in any cartoon of its era, and it's even pretty great compared to cartoons both before and after its time.
How can I tell this? Well, for starters, it passes the classic test where you can pair any combination of characters in an episode together and the episodes can run solely on their chemistry and back-and-forths with one another. They did that so many times in the show, taking two or three random members of the team and focusing on mostly just them for the episode, and it always worked.
Even the show's attempts at drama and serialized storytelling were great, and those episodes still never undermined the show's inherent comedic focus. It was fantastic at keeping a consistently entertaining and even funny tone while still being able to show drama that you can take seriously, even if the drama was based on an inherently silly and ridiculous situation.
I've been wanting for a while to start a series in which I analyze every episode of this show, as I feel like there's a lot you can say about each one. I began rewatching it around when that Galactic Kids Next Door pitch came out (RIP in peas), and I was genuinely impressed at how well-written it was and how much it still holds up after all these years.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. One thing I loved especially regarding the comedy was Numbuh 3 getting mad.
Nevermind, was thinking about Numbah 4.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
I remember thinking this was a less tolerable version, but more Serious Business version of Recess(with the whole Kids vs Adults theme). Though the show was enjoyable, it definitely could be hard to take seriously with such strange sense of morality.
Memories of it?
