The Not As Dumb As You Look comic especially was great. I got stuck reading it while I'd have had more important stuff to do.

Could you explain what the comic is?

So, did anyone check out the McGucket marathon last Sunday?

Some of the segments basically confirm some of the hints throughout the show, but a couple of them brought up new points/hints we might've missed.

I just watched it, haha. I didn't realize how many people in Gravity Falls only had one eye...

The medalions and the eye thing hasn't been speculated about much. The latter very likely has something to do with the Society of the Blind Eye. The medallions though... Fez Stan can't be a member of the Blind Eye even though Ivan was also one of the examples. It doesn't match up at all with his actions. I wonder if that has to do with Stan's "buy gold" thing.

The main theme of GF is that nobody can handle the Awful Truth without going mad.

And yet the twins have tea with Cthulhu every Tuesday.

Quite enjoyable actually.

Anyway, as for the marathon I feel like its more red herrings or trolling being set up by Alex.

Calling it, 6-18 is the day the new episodes start again :P

I'm just really excited to see what happens... I've been wondering what the whole story is and just- I can't- Agh, need more GF!

That's a Thursday; do they normally air new episodes then?

Monday is the norm now, but now they have Star Vs to replace GF's spot. So they could move it.

And it's not like they haven't moved GF around before, right?

Also, 618 is Alex Hirsch's birthday. But it does not prevent it from being the next air date too. In fact, I'd appreciate it as a birthday gift too, as I share the birthday.

As far as I'm concerned any day of the week airdate that isn't Saturday morning or Friday Night is pretty interchangable. And they do seem to imply something big is going on in our side of the fourth wall on that date.

Just looking through the Mcgucket's conspiracy corner again. They my seem ridiculous, but some of them make a lot of sense.

Calling it now that the one about the Ice guy foreshadows his/her appearance and/or reveal in an upcoming episode.

So after re watching Scaryoke last night I realized something amusing if the Author is indeed voiced by Weird Al.

Zombies are destroyed by perfect three part harmonies. The Author had two assistants that he trusted with the failsafe key. Ergo the Author, Mc Gucket and a third person (this pretty much rules out Grunkle Stan as even when he was risking his life to save the twins he didn't tell them how to kill the zombies) were singing together. It amuses me that the Author might have put them other two up to it, during a zombie attack and was the best singer by far.

It kind of bugs me that they didn't perform any harmonization. They just sang the song at the same time and it knocked out the zombies anyway.

Yeah I think Alex bringing up the possibility of it being a Flash Forward is trolling. The pattern on the wallpaper seems deliberately old fashioned, type writers were outdated even before the Author went into the Portal, and I'm betting a significant chunk of next episode is flashback. Considering the model of the solar system I'm betting it's during the Original Mystery Twins childhood.
