They already are. I swear, I made a crack about Makorra shippers being the new Zutarians on tumblr, and this was one of the responses:

"also, Zuko and Katara are still alive. I dont know if Mai is still alive or has passed away already… but if… who knows maybe Zuko and Katara find together at an old age. (Aang is since seventeen years dead… so I dont see a problem there.) I wouldnt put it past the writers to bring those two old ones together… even if just subtly hinted."

This coming episode just stinks of Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things except instead of the writers putting up a stink and giving up,they've decided to troll every last shipper,blurred any Official Couple for us "Go With The Flow" types,and for those Anti-Shippers who just want action,they toned down that.

Masami shippers are getting Shipping Bed Death via Tastes Like Diabetes made worse than Comic! Kataang

Makorra shippers are getting nothing new after so much build up,it just came to a stop for Masami. If those Zutarians had just shut their yaps and not called it Zutara 2.0,maybe this would've stayed Official

Borra shippers are getting a ship that is as likely as Taang or Tokka,...aka never gonna happen

And just watch the next Old Katara and Old Zutara appearrence be rife with Ship Sinking and Ship Tease.

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! Can't wait to see it get to that "Bros before hoes/sisas before mistas" point and just be done with it. That's what both sides of the Bryke/Zutara war need to do since it appears Aaron Ehasz and all those other writers won't be back to stop the trolling tendencies.

The first 12 episodes were produced months ago, it's not like they're actively engaged in trolling the fandom. They just foresaw exactly how it would turn out.

You're right,you're right. But Makorra didn't happen overnight at the premiere either,shipping has happened since the show was announced and since names started appearing.

Either way,the argument still holds water since they can still make the next season based on all this.

I have to hold on dear life to Penzin until the whole thing gets resolved.
