I swear if this spawns Brobears I will hate all of you.
This show.. I don't know, considering I actually played with Care Bears as a child, maybe I'll watch it. I mean, I never had anything My Little Pony growing up, and I could still somewhat get into FIM.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.lulz
I doubt this will be as popular as Pony. Heck, I can't get into their new Transformers Prime or Strawberry Shortcake!
Who's working on this new show?

eye twitches* if this does make brobears I WILL kill my self. But all joking aside it seems like if anything on The Hub is not made by Lauren Fost or is not Transformers Prime, it is uncool according to the internet.
Do we know who any of the characters are yet?
All our wishes can come trueUgh, they ditched Adventures In Care-A-Lot's stylized designs and went back to the bulky ones. Kind of nice seeing Tenderheart again, but it just looks so...lifeless. Plus, the fact that Care-A-Lot's a forest pretty much kills the chance of the Cousins showing up...
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"There is one character named Harmony, who sings. That's her thing. I didn't catch the rest though.
"eye twitches* if this does make brobears I WILL kill my self. But all joking aside it seems like if anything on The Hub is not made by Lauren Fost or is not Transformers Prime, it is uncool according to the internet. "
Dan Vs.
Does anyone have a recording of the ad for it?
Not really feeling that artstyle.
I doubt this will be as big as MLP.
I used to love the Care Bears back in the day, so I'll give it a shot. It can't suck that bad.
Although as a kid, I was way more into the Care Bear Cousins. My favorite is still Cozy Heart Penguin; I have a mini-plushie of him.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaYeah, the cousins were awesome. My two favorites were Brightheart Raccoon and Swiftheart Rabbit.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Yeah, the ad shown during Canterlot Wedding does... not fill me with confidence. It looks to be pretty much the same as the old shows lathered in stiff CGI like those DTV movies from a while back.
Come to think of it, is this the same studio that does the hideous Strawberry Shortcake CGI show?
I don't know, but I WOULD. NOT. BE. SURPRISED. IF. IT. IS.
The commercial that they ran didn't show any kind of subversiveness, clever humor, or better-than-average animation, unlike what Pony had shown. It looks like it's all played straight.

Awww.
NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)I've only seen like one or two episodes of the new Strawberry Shortcake, but... um... I... I don't hate it.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThe only shows worth watching on The Hub in my opinion are Friendship Is Magic, Transformers Prime, and The Transformers for the theme song.
NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)well is the care bear theme badass like the transformers theme? that might, might1, get me to watch it.
All our wishes can come trueThe thing with Care Bears is I'm not really sure who they were marketing it towards. they had really evil villains and lots of boy characters for boy-oriented viewers, but girl characters and cute animation for girl viewers.

The Protomen enhanced my life.their faces look sort of weird, in fact their entire bodies look sort of weird, but I don't know how.
All our wishes can come trueI couldn't help being a little cynical when I saw that commercial. It was like "Yeah, MLP had been languishing in direct-to-video hell for awhile now but when we put it on the Hub it gained all these fans, now what other property do we have that's been languishing... AHA! If they all love MLP they'll surely love the Care Bears!"
If they bring back either Professor Coldheart or else No-Heart, Beastly and Shrieky, I might be sold. Always kind of felt sorry for Beastly and Shrieky though.
visit my blog!Eeeeeeeeeeehhhhh, probably not. I might jump the bandwagon if it becomes a thing, but really, probably not.
the concnept of care bears is a lot harder to do right than MLP. so i doubt this will get...brobears.
The Hub will premiere a new series based on the Care Bears this year called Care Bears: Welcome To Care-a-lot. It was first advertised during the season finale of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. Starting a discussion about it, though the commercial didn't make it look anything special.
