The Place for Purging Porn and Pedo-Pandering (AKA P5 flag evaluations)

Thanks. I knew I commented on it, but not when, and the site search was unhelpful in refreshing my memory.

Snuff fic reported. This one looks like it can't be saved.

Without having read it, snuff alone isn't enough to get it cut. Our primary concerns are porn and pedo-pandering.

Well, it looks like, y'know. Sexual violence.

From the trope list, it looks like a not-particularly-sexualized Gorn fic, which...um, I don't think there's any clear policy on at all.

I think Gorn is very much a case-by-case business, considering how disgusting some of it can be. (On a side note, it's a bad idea to turn Google Safe Search off 'just to see what happens'.) It's ultimately up to the P5 and site rules.

Reading it, it really seems to be not unlike Cupcakes, which the P5 decided to (grudgingly) keep.

Giving this a votes bump:

• Endless World, FanficRecs.Team Fortress 2, Chakona Space and Raccoon have no votes yet.
• Ryona has 1 devilhead.
• Erotic Film has 2 angels.
• Mythology 101 Cycle has 2 devilheads.
• Hooker Verse can be checked off as "done". Same for The Manga Guide To Psychosomatic Illnesses and Hivefled.

Gosh, I'm so sorry for putting this in the backburner for as long as I did, guys. College work is taking up a lot of my spare time. Tonight, I do have some, so let’s get down to business:

• Team Fortress 2: Keep, and remove offending fics. Curate to make sure no other pornfics get recced.
• Raccoon: Cut. In addition to being a snuff fic, it seems to fetishize the gorey details.
• Chakona Space: (A Somewhat Reluctant) Keep. While there is quite a bit of sex “scenes” is this work universe, the overall plot that’s going on is just barely keeping it above a “there just for the smut” sort of thing.
• Endless World: Keep. While there is quite a bit of sex and sexual imagery here, it’s all actually plot-relevant. Even the underaged Ryuu rape scene hallucination thing in Chapter 4 isn’t played for the sake of titillation. Fix the ZC Es, add the Sexual Harassment and Rape Tropes and in-context warning about the graphic and complicated nature of the story.

Also been busy with classes. Just got out of my last final a couple hours ago. Not gonna argue with you on the snuff fic or the TF2 fics. Not sure what to think of Chakona Space (or whatever it's called). It's right on the borderline. If someone wants to volunteer to look over it, it would be much appreciated.

Haven't looked over Endless World yet. Everything else I have either voted or said my piece on.

Oneiroi Series is a new flag.

Its hosted by Fanfiction.net which normally screens for offensive content and according to the tags its " Fiction T" Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.

I've read some of fanfiction.net's stuff, and their screening is NOT necessarily reliable. I was looking for Ben 10 fanfics and crossovers once, and there was one that had been up a couple years that was labeled an "M" Ben/Gwen romance.

They were fucking twelve years old and having sex. In graphic detail. (For the first two long paragraphs at least.) I reported it.

So any fanfiction.net still needs reviewing here if flagged, because you just don't know.

Series is long. Screened a few chapters based on the contents of our page. Description of sexual intercourse present but didn't seem overly explicit. Is it possible to get the flagger to drop by and state their case? Might make the job easier.

Yeah, the case looks very shaky. I mean, they only have the trope list to go from and even that is vague.

I skimmed the story. Though I'm not familiar with the canon there's nothing really here which could be counted as "explicit". There's a couple of fade-to-black encounters which end on kissing and then cut to the morning after, and there's one paragraph-length description of a sexual encounter in chapter 10 that would easily pass in a young adult novel. I'd suggest we leave it be.

X5 I'm willing to keep an eye on the FanficRec.Team Fortress 2 page. Should I go ahead and take out the fics then?

... Yeah, definitely graphic. There's a naked female body starting from page 5, an uncensored penis in page 8, and explicit sexual activity plus naked female genitals on page 9. I assume the rest would be quite similar.

Looks like the page is fairly new. It's not sticking around much longer.

It also seems to be done exclusively by one guy. He's added a lot of other stuff (including being the sole writer of two other webcomic pages), so it doesn't seem like he's here just to post porn despite his name, but he may have flat out missed the policy.

Well, either way, this work page violates the content policy, so it must be cut.
