No, it's a text story; each post is a chapter, although it almost always takes multiple chapters to cover one sequence's worth of story. There's no set length, as each chapter's pretty much as long as it takes for the author to get to a good stopping point.

Looks like I have a new project, then. Would 20 randomly selected chapters sound fair? More? Less?
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenBy the way, Unlucky Busty Girl was angel voted and its disposition is "Not a P5 issue. Run through TRS for resolution."
It appears no one's made a TRS thread for it yet, so some one should do that.
I have it on my to-do list.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanGo for it...although 20 chapters is only like 3% of the overall story at most. I'll try to answer any questions that you may have as you go.
When I get home tonight, if I get time, I'll do a clean/explicit ratio of the current "year"'s chapters, for reference's sake.

I've read through the first 10 chapters and so far no sex. If this is meant to be porn, there's a lot of work to get to it.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickTales Of Mu I assume?
Yeah, that was about Tales Of Mu. 13 chapters in. Still no sex.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenGood plan, and good luck.
Anyway, do anyone have a work that I can easily judge without the risks of Archive Panic?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Re: Tales Of MU
Chapter 38: opens with a semi-explicit recount of an erotic dream the protagonist had, followed by what seems to be angsting over Amaranth's habit of sleeping with everyone.
Chapter 64: a few references to masturbation, but nothing explicit.
Chapter 99: Nothing to report, apart from an amusing throwaway reference to Stairway to Heaven.
Chapter 126: A guy (who's kind of a pig) rather bluntly states that he engaged in mammary intercourse with one of the protagonist's friends, but that that's about as explicit as things get.
Chapter 183: Mostly clean, a couple throwaway lines stating that one of the characters is having a hell of a lot of sex. Very apparent that the series has a coherent plot, even if I am skipping large chunks of material.
Chapter 184: Presumably a recap of prior material. One note that one character is aroused, but no sex.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenIt appears that someone has flagged My Life as a Teenaged Von Neumann Device.
Now, I haven't read this in a long while, but I do remember that, while there is indeed some relatively graphic sex scenes, there is an overarching plot throughout the whole work. It's basically Plot With Porn, really. Of course, if someone wishes to offer a second opinion, they can go right ahead.

Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. One of the devil-heads for Tales Of MU is from me, but I'm changing my vote, which makes it three angels. Should I just zap it off the list and call it a day, or re-flag it to make it official and everything?
It would probably be best to get it on the resolved list. If the mods can't change the vote for us or anything, then I'd be fine voting again if you wanted to zap and reflag it.

So do I need to go on?

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenI think the mods can change your vote if you ask.
Read through first 26 chapters. One non-explicit sex scene. Tales Of Mu does not appear to be porn and everyone is adults.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHeh...I notice tgoodrich hit a lot of the early chapters featuring Amaranth in one way or another. She's involved in a lot of the sexual material, but it's literally her purpose in life.

Can someone please give Mitsudomoe the third angel so it can get off the list?
Martello was the one to give it a devil head (without reviewing it I might add), so there should be enough active P5 members to finish this one and get it off the que
Re: Tales Of MU
Chapter 359: Sexualized spanking, gets a little explicit.
Chapter 372: Some sort of dream sequence. Clean.
Chapter 395: Clean. Some sort of Halloween ball.
Chapter 465: Some sex, makes up a small portion of the chapter. Mostly solipsist musings, though.
Honestly, at this point, I'm comfortable calling things, given that two mods have endorsed it as not-porn.
Verdict: Keep, clean if necessary
Pro:
- Plot far outweighs sex, even in the earlier chapters where sex is more concentrated
- Sex scenes often took up only portions of a chapter
- All participants are adults
Con:
- Some explicit sex
- Serious case of Archive Panic

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenRE: the verdict - I've tried to police the page as much as I can, but I know there's a couple of tropes that may raise some eyebrows without knowing how they're used in-story.
Gragh. Okay, this may seem odd, but... I think I'm going to actually participate in this subforum rather than just lurk it. I mean, every now and then so far I've made a comment or two - usually after a verdict has been reached - but the slowness of everything right now is making me antsy. While I can't guarantee impartiality, I will almost certainly end up defending things I don't like and damning things I do. And vice-versa.
I may not like censorship, but when it's an unavoidable result, it should at least be done right.
Welcome aboard, Sabbo.
... I can't tell if that's a "Fine, I accept my position" or not.
Just curious: does chapter in this sense mean the same thing as a manga chapter (i.e. around 20 pages)?
