Because one of the girls is typically a big breasted one. I don't know yet if she's actually a child or a student who was held back some years. Typically shy. I'm on episode 1. Okay, the anime is definitely more on the perverted side, but not anything I'd say "cut". Yet.

Okay, here's a link I found to the manga. I'll let someone else peruse it; I've seen enough raunchy imagery of little anime girls to last me several lifetimes.

• Okay, one character apparently was a lolicon that got his team disbanded. The location is unknown and is a background element. Not cool. But probably has no final bearing at this time.
• Tomoka is typically flirty and actually... wants to know the male lead's fetishes. Goody. Jeez, the anime was less problemsome than this. :/ Anyway, same scenes otherwise with the shorts, etc. Anime has a longer translation, it seems.
• And Aiha's chest just got rubbed. Yay. Other than being shy, is she actually of a young age? She doesn't seem that childish to me so far. If she's atleast 15, it could probably be fine. But any younger...

FYI, this is hard due to no page so I can't remember the characters' names. Anybody got a Wiki page I can quickly click? For the pictures of them and all.

I tried assessing based on the manga, but it was kinda hard to get a feel due to the limited amounts translated. Then the first volume of Chapter 2 came out with the elementary school girl in a bikini and that boob-sucking scene that everyone's talked about, so the manga version probably won't pass.

IIRC, the tall one is 12 like all the others but unusually developed for her age.

Light Novels: I think we discussed this before, but I don't think anyone's translated them so far, although the baka-tsuki blog has a review which seems to give it a pass.

Whoever flagged Disgaea was probably flagging it because of Etna.

It's probably a bad thing for a work when Ms. Fanservice looks all of 14. Not saying the work as a whole is bad (I don't think it is), but it probably needs addressing.

Let's be honest, she is fanservicey. But this is a Haga Yui thing, really.

Also, the anime may not pass. They have Laharl constantly hugged by busty Succubi to "stop him". That one is questionable. It's a hard one to find, but the Anime is mostly clean...

That's all I needed to hear. My verdict is cut. This is the same thing that I would say cutting Kodomo No Jikan for(KNJ has other reasons too).

So all that's left is the PSP version... is that it? Are there others?

Like I said, there are the source light novels, but until someone can actually find translations or is willing to find and read the raw Japanese, we won't be able to make a decision based on those, so we'll have to stick to what's available.

EDIT: ...well, guess I might've been wrong about the initial assessment. (NSFW.) I can't say anything about the text, but on the basis of illustrations, this one kinda has the manga beat in terms of objectionable material. Keep it cut.

Well, until those and the PSP version comes to light, sounds like cut for now. IMO.

Nobody flagged Disgaea and nobody should. Does anyone really think it's possible to drool over that art style?

But anyway, let me check for some PSP screens.

Disgaea is rated teen. Also, since s/he is only the character designer, they have no input on the elements that make Lotte problematic—Disgaea character sprites don't go around flashing ten-year old panties.

Yeah, just wanted to clarify that the reason Disgaea was initially brought up was in relation to Lotte!. My argument for having a proper re-assessment is in the other thread.

Not sure where that came up... unless it happened past Chapter 26. However, I'm referring to the Manga version which is completely flash free and is actually overall cleaner.

Since the PSP version is not available at this time, we have to wait to work on it. Other versions have pedophile-pandering elements.

We're not. Promo art was not judged. Actual content was. Those are from the Manga, and the context if you read it was... let's get on a girl with big breasts cause we're perverts. There was no "reasonable" context. Hell, the scene in Kodomo No Jikan was freakin' better justified, and that's saying something.

One person said probably a no. There was no announcement. In addition, please don't speak for the P5. They can speak for themselves.
