Batarian heavy melee is pretty awesome Especially since it makes heads explode.
Yeah, but slow as hell.
I got the Krogan Battlemaster as well. But I just want a krogan sentinel
...I haven't played multiplayer for while, due to the EA Servers being so unreliable over here that I was disconnected from my game in THE FINAL ROUNDS. Four times in the same timeframe. With the last being a Silver Game. During the last Operation.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...So if I am looking for weapon mods which pack to buy? All I have gotten is the AR stability mod after so many packs.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Some mods count as uncommon drops and some are rare. You'll stop getting that specific mod after it hits grade 5.

#IceBearForPresidentI would suggest buying vet packs till you starting getting your uncommon weapons and mods levelled up a bit then you should switch to the more expensive packs.
So when you start, buy recruit packs to max out your starting weapons. Then switch to vet packs mostly, then hit up spectre and special packs when you're playing gold...
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Oh I am already doing White/Geth/Gold runs.
How is the phaeston rifle?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I didn't mean farming gold...
Had an awesome match last night. Glacier/Reapers (gold). Biotic explosions everywhere. I was a human sentinel, there was a drell adept, an infiltrator and a krogan murdertrain. Extraction was harrowing but we just about made it when our infiltrator cloaked and hid for the last few seconds.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong. This almost never seems the case when I get insta-killed by Atlases.
One of the devs posted about it on BSN. Except for the banshee, every single other insta-kill will happen after a successful melee attack. I've noticed when solo'ing Atlases as a vanguard that if I roll back as they do the their melee stomp/ground punch, then I can charge again. Just question of synchronising your attacks to their movements.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Atlas combo is charge, roll, shoot a bit, charge. Grabs their attention so your friends can finish em off quick or you can play headbutt the giant mech for about 20 seconds or so and pray a lag spike doesn't kill you.
You can actually charge behind brutes if you time it right. Then you drop a nova on their ass.
Phantoms can be a bitch but they go down just like everyone else.
I've noticed rocket troopers can sometimes smack you immediately after a charge. Not a big deal by itself but if you're surrounded by six other geth they'll turn you into a very deadguard in no time.
On other classes...
Geth engineer is disappointing. I had him specc'd for damage and that was not wise. Next time I promote his ass I'll try a sniper/camper set-up.
human sentinel is making me look forward to finally getting a blueberry. It'll happen, once the RNG stops being a twat. Gee, a hornet V? For me? You shouldn't have.
Saber's fallen out of favor with me. I'm rocking a widow in it's stead.
Paladin is now hilariously overpowered. It's like a shotgun and sniper had a baby.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?me (as krogan vanguard) and another krogan vanguard decided to play beat-up-the-atlas just now with alternating chargebutts
it was just plain silly/great
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterI just finished a game as a claymore infiltrator.
Oh man is this spec fun. Now to figure out how to optimize the stats for this. I'd assume quarian would be the best race, since they get less weight on shotguns? Or salarian for proximity mine?
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterHuman's not bad either, especially if you can fire off cryo under cloak.
Salarian I like for ED first.
Shotgun infiltrator is a helluva lot of fun.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.I need to try out an infiltrator... but man I cant seem to play classes that take heavy weapons. I keep trying to use skills... that will teach me to start with an Eng as my first class.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!the trick is to only carry one heavy weapon with no side arm. if you are not permanently invisible and making every shot count as an infiltrator, you are doing it wrong.

"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterThis. Cloak's CD is actually based on how long you spend cloaked. If you cloak and shoot, your CD on cloak is actually quite quick. If you allow cloak to run out normally, it'll be long.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong. Here is to hoping that they rework MP to give credits per round or just give credits for Extraction.
Saw this one guy today after getting the reward for wave 10's objective walk up to a banshee and die then go afk... (the reason I know he went afk is we won the round and he rezed and just stood there.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Was soloing bronze for the lulz earlier came thiiiiiiis close to getting my first 10 waves survived medal. Died during the last objective round, as I was hacking one of the 4 indoctrination devices. Damn Phantom.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong. What class?
And phantom insta-kill? Or could ya use a medpack and pwn his ass?

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Novaguard.
"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.gorramit, why does every keep trying to make engineers a damage class? They're a support class! They're there to strip shields and make sure most enemies are too busy convulsing with electricity to shoot people(human and geth) or making sure they're too busy shooting your decoy(salarian)! If you can kills some stuff on the side, great, but that's not the primary role of the class.
Poor quarian engineers...

XP granted for befriending a giant magical spider!But...but...my Salarian engi melts has a Drone the utterly rapes things AND he melts your face. Its very effective.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Yeah I am having a good amount of fun doing good farming runs with my Geth eng, specced him like you said (shield charge, chain overload, hunter mode.) and its pretty fun, I rarely die even in hunter mode except for those of shit moments when things come from behind (usually in random silver matches.) or I don't notice the turret died... It gets taken out a decent amount sadly. I usually am 2nd or 3rd on the points list sometimes first.
The old spec I had though is pretty much just as viable IMO (Turret damage, chain overload, passives in shields and shield recharge and weapon damage.) you can still chain like a mofo, have a good recharge rate on shields have a true distraction and be able to damage Giants.
Giant enemies are the one weakness of Geth eng. ( not so for Salarian and human.)
Quarians though.... I really don't get why they got those powers you figure they would be like Tali.... Turret, energy drain, sabotage.... I guess that's why they lost their own world... Crappy skills.
I want a salarian eng.... That is the one I am still waiting for in packs.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
I don't even remember my early ones now, but I think I got my AA really late. Everything else came ok.
I'll be on in a bit if you want to play...
