Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer

The main Mass Effect 3 thread has been locked. As the discussion in this thread has always remained civil, it will be remaining open with the caveat that it not become a replacement for the single player campaign thread and that it remain on topic.

If anyone attempts to derail the thread or start up the same behaviour that got the other thread locked, please holler.

Good God, it's about time a thread like this appeared. I don't want to gush over my Krogan characters only to be sidetracked about the morality of the Ardat-Yakshi and whatnot.

Yesterday I got a Geth[Do Not]Infiltrator and a Krogan Vanguard. As for the former, I think I prefer my Quarian better. As for the latter, unlike everyone else, I maxed out Carnage and ignored Barrier. I have two respec cards available in case I decide that was a stupid idea.

I think the geth is better than the quarian character.

You could just ignore the non-MP discussions and/or gush in the middle of them, it's how everone else was doing it.

I also support this thread...I don't want to discuss the endings, the morality of the Ardat-Yakshi and such with things while someone else gushes over a Krogan character.

Plus the multiplayer is a different game... it was not even made by the same team as the rest of Mass Effect 3.

Gethfiltrator with cloak, huntermode, Javelin and ignoring proxy mine? Laughably awesome. Also melts shit that gets into melee range. Love it.

Holy fuck yes. This has the potential for becoming my new favorite class, next to Human Adept.

Having great fun with the Geth eng.

Going to try out the squishy 6/6/6/5/3 Hunter/Shield bot build and see how I like it.

Anyone else enjoy playing as the batarians? Those guys have armor that decreases enemy health if they melee you, they have an omni-punch, they have the capture net, they have the blades...

Hey, we're playing as geth, the flashlight henchmen everyone hated back at the first game.

I think the Batarian sentinel is a bit useless. Net has a projectile travel time and doesn't explode. Shockwave is rubbish. Soldier looks brilliant though, can't wait to unlock him and go around punching stuff in the face.

they became acceptable when Legion came around.

The Soldier is much better. Holy shit.

The name for my batarian is "Not A Pirate".

The RNG finally stopped hating me and gave me good weapons. Loving the Javelin right now, if only it wasn't so heavy and had a bit more ammo. The Saber seems pretty good.

Wish I had the Geth Infiltrator right now. My brother was using it and the upgrades made it seem incredibly overpowered compared to other Infiltrators.

Oh how I hate you.

I got it on the second Spectre pack I bought. First one gave me the Arc Pistol . Next I bought a Resurgence Pack and got the Saber and Geth Engineer.

Is it normal for Banshee's to pull you back towards them for an insta kill if you run away after they charge you? Because that ended up happening to me when I was soloing on bronze. Still won because I died in the extraction zone just as the timer hit 0.

Yes. The banshee insta-kill can happen any time in close.

All the other insta-kills happen after you get melee'd. So a good vanguard can get up close and person with everything but banshee without insta-kills.

ahahaha my streak of everyone, including RNG's, loving me continues. I opened that free whatever pack that I got for that one reason and got a Krogan battlemaster.

By the way, my streak has been:

• First veteran pack-Quarian infiltrator
• Second veteran pack-Widow
• Third veteran pack-Salarian infiltrator
