Well, he didn't explicitly say it wasn't coming back, but he did insist that it was porn when it was brought up once or twice.

Also, Vase De Noches involves a lot of literally eating shit. And unfaked bestiality. It probably won't be coming back. (Good riddance.)

Does anyone know why Ro-Kyu-Bu was deleted here? It's as tame as Listen to Me Girls, I am your Father. I don't know why cleaning up the page was not an option.

The only conversation on it was on this page.

It was because most of what they found on it was fanservice, and all the main characters are elementary school girls.

Massive shame. I do hope they'll give it a proper review at some point in the future.

I mean, it's a sports anime, for crying out loud.

Also they didn't even consider the different options they have:

  • Cleaning up the page
  • Making it an anime-only trope

The fact that the P5 wasn't even aware that the series was licensed by Sentai Filmworks nor that it has an anime adaptation or that a member of P5 judged the entire series based on the PSP Game or the Light Novel covers makes me doubt if the P5 actually make a research on the shows they're judging before voting on it.

They do the research. I think that one just got lost in the cracks between all the rest of the schlock they'd have to get through.

There are people researching every work that comes up. The P5 don't have time to comprehensively go over every work that comes their way, so they have to rely on people who know the work, or who are willing to take a sampling of it.

^ Sorry to sound rude, but the information about the licensor, TV-rating (TV-14 given by TAN), and knowing the mediums a work have adaptations of are BASIC research. If 3 of the P5 people didn't even bother performing BASIC research ...

^^ Also, if it was "lost in some schlock", why did they rushed judging it? They should have at least created a separate thread in the forums. I didn't see anything of that sort.

They have gone over dozens of works. If one gets lost in the shuffle, or lumped in with some of the other stuff they were looking at, that's a pretty good hit percentage.

You're perfectly allowed to request that they look at it again, without throwing veiled insults their way.

How? This thread is? I doubt that someone would traverse a 70-page thread to look for appeals.

@Komodin: Sorry if I sound rude.

Yes, this thread. And they don't have to trawl through the archives. They deal with them as they come up.

That anime wasn't even on the queue in the time I've been helping out here. Maybe it was an inital purging that slipped through the cracks?

[up]It's not. It was there for a while, just buried towards the bottom of the stack IIRC.

Welp, that's the side effect of having censorship, I guess.

[up][up] Was totally unaware of that. Let's definitely get that investigated and restored.

[up] Strawman arguments aren't really welcome here.

You know, there's already an archive thread if you really want to see the evidence that was provided for something.

@ Arha: You mean this? https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/conversations.php?topic=5p There's nothing for Ro-Kyu-Bu there.

EDIT: If you mean this, https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13349331300A11026600&page=77 I've read the whole page. There's not much discussion that happened.

I've also read the discussions on Sono Hanabira ni Kuchikuze wo. Almost all posts there says that Sono Hanabira ni Kuchikue wo isn't really objectionable (given consideration that it is a Visual Novel in which majority are 18+ and that it has a clean spin-off here: http://vndb.org/v5244). Just some quotes:

Arguments for cut: (from shimaspawn) "Yeah, all the nudity I found looking for that series was either a) Fan art, b) a completely different series, c) one rather mundane bath scene with heavy censor steam. It doesn't seem to be played for fan-service. Just as female bonding. Bath scenes are often places in Japanese media where characters talk about deep things."

(from shimaspawn) "Eh, if all the ever do is kiss, not so much. For 14 that's perfectly age appropriate behaviour especially if the only people they're kissing are the same age. That's the same level of sexualization as Hannah Montana."

Arguments for cut: (from Krazy Kopter) "I went and looked up Hanahira!. While it doesn't have any nudity as far as what I saw, the characters looked underage to me, and considering what images I did see, I can't help but feel that it's paedo-pandering. So even that wouldn't work for a Bleached Underpants version."

You might want to re-consider just placing a Bleached Underpants version for Sono Hanabira (Hanahira!)

By the way, if you want something re-reviewed, you should probably flag it.

[up]Thanks. How do I flag something? I can't find it on P5 decision thread/page restoration thread/content violation discussions.
