What Goodrich stated applies to me as well. If, for all intents and purposes, the story treats a character like they're a young child, then it will work against them for the judgment.

The story doesn't in any way treat her as if she's a child. Even when the Villain Protagonist takes control of her, he doesn't treat her as a victim, he treats her as the potential threat to him that she is.

Canonically her age has never been established. She could be as old as late 20's, and she could be much younger. There's no evidence to support her status as a minor, but more circumstantial evidence in the sequence of events, and her own dialog, that she's been around at least as long as adult supporting characters.

Hello, my name is Austin DR, and I'm new to this whole P5 thing. I would like to request the MLP fanfic entitled Pattycakes to be removed from this wiki. The main idea is Rainbow Dash being drugged by her friend Fluttershy, and then being converted to an infantile-like state. This fanfic has absolutely no plot whatsoever. This fanfic was only made because the author happened to have a baby/diaper fetish, and this is shown with RD constantly soiling her diaper.

This isn't the right thread for that. To my surprise given that I've actually heard of it, we don't appear to have reviewed it at all. I'll go tag it for now, but in the meantime please move to this thread. Also, just to be clear, you're tagging it because it's solely pornographic not just because there are gross fetishes or whatever right?

I'd like to request that the page for "Time Braid" by Shaper V be restored.

There was a small amount of argument that took place before it's first removal; basically, the arguments on one side were that it was a time loop fic(ergo, '13' year old character is actually much older) and that physical age increasing magic(jutsu) was used to solve physical complaints(involving a scene between the main character and a 21 year old ninja).

Ultimately, the physical increase in age was ignored when considering the removal of the page, which I believe resulted in an unfair verdict.

To Sum Up:

Remove Argument / Keep Argument

12 year old+21 year old sex / 12 year old is mentally significantly older due to the time loop

12 year old body+21 year old body sex / 12 year old is physically older due to age increasing magic.

Ultimately the magic detail was ignored.

Furthermore, the 'sex scenes' are not explicit whatsoever(total of ~140 words, with no explicit language besides some mention of boobs/breasts) and not at all the focus of the fic.

Therefore, I'd like to request the restoration of the page.

I would like to agree with the request to take another look at Time Braid. I'm rather against its removal, especially as it contradicts the inclusion of Chunin Exam Day, which I've been told is much, much more explicit and Lolicon-ish.

While there ARE mentions of younger characters engaging in sexual acts, it all occurs off-screen and is in no way meant to titillate the audience, but is rather mentioned as background for related events that have little or nothing to do with actual sex (e.g. a realization of the misunderstanding of a certain character, parental conflicts, etc.).

Adannor and I had a look at Hive Fled, and we don't think it falls afoul of the guidelines, although the description should be rewritten. Requesting formal decision. (I know Fast Eddie cut it, but I think we have sufficient grounds for an appeal.)

No offense to the guy because he's been really polite and reasonable the few times I've dealt with him personally, but does anyone else wish he'd stop pulling mod fiat and let the P5 handle things?

A lot of people wish that Eddie would obey the rules, but he's made it very clear that he doesn't, because it's his site.

Eddie originally agreed that he'd abide by P5 decisions, but he hasn't.

Anyway, if the cut turns out to have been incorrect, the P5 will petition Eddie to restore a cleaned-up and fixed page.

The page creeped me out, but I was thinking that it at least deserved a review to see if it were really so awful as it seemed. It could very well just be darkfic with some uncomfortable subject matter, but the description gave me some... bad vibes.

If our page implies a work violates policy when it doesn't (such as by focusing too much on creepy details), then that's a problem with our page that needs to be fixed, not a reason to cut it outright. Still haven't seen this work, though. Should be able to get to it tomorrow.

The one that got me was Caligula because that's a fairly well known movie and Wal-Mart(who has a hate-on for porn and won't carry anything with a 18+ rating) carries a version that's cut down to a R-rating, and a censored version has even been run on mainstream cable before.

I don't watch exploitation movies, but I like The Cinema Snob and find reading their trope pages entertaining.

Took a look at Hive Fled. I see nothing cut-worthy; it's just dark. Admittedly I don't read Homestuck, but apparently it's a few years after canon, so all the younger characters are now old enough to clear that part. The page probably needed cleaning, though. Does anyone have a copy of that, so we can take a look at it and try and fix what made it seem like a blatant violation?

Adannor's post, the third post from my link, should be a cut-and-paste quote from the page.

Don't know how I missed that. But even that description doesn't seem too bad; it just notes its origins, but is also careful to say it's not actual porn. Maybe we can move the part about the origins to the bottom of the description? I don't know if that's where it was originally.

@Shoboni: I think most of us here agree with you that Caligula should be restored, for what it's worth.

Here's a cached version of the page [1] (I got the quote from google cache initially, which has since updated to show the deleted version. I don't know how fresh is that cached version.)

We also still had all the subpages intact, although they've been blanked by some troper that doesn't seem to know how cutlist works.

I've rolled the subpages back and will call ~Jinxmenow here; they've been around long enough to know that we don't do page blanking.

Also, I would suggest to flag Hivefled so that you can get the request recorded and voted upon.

I could help with any questions about Homestuck canon if they come up, as unlikely as that might be.

Just checking up on my petition to restore the page for Time Braid, as it's been several months with no apparent official response. Any questionable elements of the story make up less than 1/1000th of the story and are only questionable in the vaguest sense(not tittilating, etc).

As one of the premier Naruto Groundhog Peggy Sue fics, I feel it serves an important cultural role and really should be restored.

I have just finished Baldr Sky Dive game, and was surprised to find it absent from TV Tropes, being cut for porn/paedo reasons, and as far as I can tell, by people who did not actually play the game or could read Japanese at all.

I'd like to request the Baldr Sky page to be restored, if possible.

The game does contain sex scenes, but they are no worse than can be found in every other visual novel in existence, better than most, in fact. The scenes are a very minor (<1%) part of the game, the plot of which revolves around dystopia, cyberpunk, nanomachines, AI, mecha, and stuff like that, definitely not around sex, so the game is not porn by any reasonable definition. And, all sex scenes occur between adult characters, five years after the game world's equivalent of the high school, so the game is not paedo-stuff, again by any reasonable definition.

The definition we have here is pretty strict. The issue here isn't that it's pornography but rather that of underaged sexual content. From what I recall, there were characters whose physical appearance was too young to meet our guidelines, though they were also stated to act like adults. Be that as it may, their appearance causes issues with the current site policy. In order to have a successful restoration petition, you'll need to show that the prior judgment condemning it was flawed in some manner. For example, evidence that there is a version of the VN without said content, that it has an adaptation that lacks it or that we were misinformed regarding the content present in the story.
