The TGWTG 4th anniversary special

If Doug's interested in doing smaller, less expensive film shoots in the future, maybe he could consider flying just a few producers in to Springfield, IL to take advantage of Team Snob's stable of actors. That way they'd have a smaller cast, and they wouldn't have to secure lodging for half of them, allowing for a longer shooting period.

But the whole point of the anniversaries is to use a large amount of the contributors.

I think the problem is most of them are wasted playing themselves.

I know I sound like a Broken Record here, but they're obviously not going to show us everything in the trailers. It's obviously a lot bigger and a lot longer with more effects and the Walkers spent months on writing it, so worrying about the cast not being used before it airs seems a little counter-productive. Criticism is sposed to happen during and after.

Isn't kind of the point that they're going to play their characters? Though it would be interesting if they ever get to play a character instead of their reviewer persona. And the fact that many of them don't get to do more than 2 lines has more to do with the fact that it's a cast of over 20 people.

All I hope from this special is that they have a tighter script, with less meandering.

That's something else I think would be cool, if they made movies that weren't just site anniversaries, but actually had them playing characters.

ETA: ...which would be a great reason, again, to incorporate Team Snob—they're experienced actors who already have a good rapport with most of the TGWTG regulars.

We haven't the special yet, so it is possible that one or two of them may make a cameo. I do remember that Brad's wife Jillian was present during the anniversary.

Nooooooooo oh well. The story is centered purely on the Critic, Ma-Ti, and his enemies anyway.

Well, there's also Mechakara, which NC's never met even once before, so there's gonna be other stuff and (assumedly) other enemies too.

The wait is so tense, I cannot stand it!

I have never understood how RSS worked. I tried setting up feeds a couple of years back and it didn't work.

But there are 8 installments, and it's going to go on til August 30th!

Unless they release 2 installments every 2 days!
