Coming in may on USA. Another buddy cop show the USA is famous for. Most of the humor seems to be snark based.

Well the pilot was entertaining. I am not sure why it is labeled as a comedy, with the whole death and violence in it. I am glad to see how outgoing Travis is, and as the episode went on you can see how he uses his past to connect to others... though some of those connections are best left alone xD I think Wes is a nice counterpart, but I am a bit confused by him.

I can't stop thinking about the death of Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tubeman

I really enjoyed the pilot.

Was the girl Travis was having sex with the same one from the beginning of the episode, or someone else?

Also: It's listed as comedy because, while it is a crime show, humour is still a major part of it (see: the entire scene at the auto dealership) like Psych, or Monk.

Cute show but I was kinda thrown off by all the Artistic License – Gun Safety used for humour.

[up] Yeah. I can't tell if Travis is trigger happy or just likes boast while holding a gun.

I wouldn't call it "artistic liscense" so much as just being a part of Travis's character.

I don't remember if it was mentioned, but he pointed his gun at Wes, not the other way around, right?

It's definetly Juggling Loaded Guns. As they are leaving the car dealership he shoots the inflatable mascot. Those bullets could easily kill someone since they will just keep going. I generally do not mind Cowboy Cop portrayals but this is Chief Wiggum territory.

Needs more bonding!! tongue

"The T Word" was a good start, but the dramaction cut into it. And we still don't know about the incident with the gun.

Totally want a second season.
Perhaps if so, there can be a story that would be the hook. Something that can be gone back to occasionally as the series progresses. I'd much rather this than Political Animals tongue

Pretty sure a Season 2 is already down for it. I'm glad Season 1 was pretty self-contained, mainly because if it wasn't renewed, it was full story there. That said, looking forward to future stories. Especially given fact their chief seems to be having marital problems and I have feeling that something is going on there.
