That's because the actual hot springs parts were too risque and heavy on the cheesecake to be aired on TV. The "real" version of the episode is found on the DVDs.

Oh yes the craziness that is TTGL Episode 6. If it makes you guys feel any better, the uncut episode 6 is only marginally better but suffers from a bit too much fanservice and Kamina making a really f*cking stupid choice in the climax of the episode.
But yeah the recap episode version is tedious as hell.
