I didn't catch that they run backwards until near the end of the episode. I think they showed up again maybe once or so.

Good old fashioned Batman mystery solving. It's why this series has grown on me.

Ah, just when you think Batsy's softening up a bit, he turns it all back around on you. Just like the comics!

Agreed. TAS was pretty good about not putting his detective skills to waste, but I definitely appreciate the increased emphasis on sleuthing here.

Well that was nice. Haven't properly rewatched the series in a while. Glad to see just about everything made it in too.

I just love how he effectively shut them down like that.

A little off the beaten path in saying this, but someday I want to see a scenario somewhere where someone does a similar thing, to one or more female characters who wrongly accuse someone of peeping on them in a hot spring. It'd be cool to see the other end of the spectrum for once, where they get called out on their silliness.

I like how they all A)know who Sarasvati is and B)can apparently identify the goddess on sight.

One of my favorite episodes of Samurai Jack.

So Space Dandy ends on October 4th and won't be rerunning. Everything before 4AM is getting bumped up half an hour, and after the extra-long Hellsing that night, starting the 11th Cowboy Bebop is going in at 3:30 and Ghost in the Shell is replacing Clone Wars at 4:30.

I admittedly haven't been staying up for or taping Clone Wars but it doesn't seem like it's been running nearly long enough to exhaust all the episodes. Did the rights run out, maybe?

Pros- I won't need to stay up an extra half hour.

Cons- Space Dandy won't be seen on TV for the foreseeable future, and there is yet no announcement of a home video release. Which baffles me, as I thought Toonami keeps rerunning shows that are their darlings or they partly funded.

I'm guessing for now it's cheaper to put Bebop and GITS back in the later half of the block than it would be to put Space Dandy there.

Edit: Also, it looks like the answer to my question is yes.
