No, Zero Requiem was Sasuke's plan. Naruto's plan is Fire-Forged Friends practice large-scale regime change so the great powers all trust each other. Also, world peace does not result; instead the result is more like real-world post-Cold War history: no conflicts between the major powers, but there's still a problem with terrorists, revolutionaries and tin-pot dictators, periodically requiring the intervention of major powers.
Nothing too big was announced at SDCC (though there was something they couldn't talk about yet), but the panelists cosplayed!

Honestly, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is one of the best series of anything ever. The idea of a series centered around not just a protagonist, but an entire bloodline, is just too good. The sheer number and variety of different stories you can tell is limitless.
