Well, I had some suspicions of thestonedog based on their quietness and voting patterns, but Ichigo seems more likely to me. Anything aside from that from me would be grasping at straws.

Anyways, Vote: Ichigo Pocky Chama seems our best bet.

Okay, I'm too tired to make a full post today since I was busy yesterday, and so I can't find the record of what happened right now. As such, I'm gonna take some time to dig up Johnny's journal entry, and I'll let you guys know when I find it and put it in this post.

Ichigo Pocky Chama, Volunteer, is dead in a way that I don't understand. Hmm... Let's just assume they were killed by laser sharks or something. [Insert shark or laser joke here.]

Well, I guess not, since the night went really fast. To keep from delaying things too long, I'm gonna go ahead and start the day and try to look for that journal entry.

FROM THE JOURNAL OF JOHN E. NOLYNCH, AUGUST 1ST

What horrible misfortune! Not only did I misplace my last journal entry, which I realize in hindsight may very well have contained my clue to escaping, during my late-night search for it, I stumbled across the latest disaster!

As I was making my rounds, I noticed Makeyejr skulking around. Remembering what had happened last time I'd seen something like this, I followed. In the darkness, it took me several minutes to realize that they were dressed in odd, almost ceremonial clothing. Attached to their belt were dozens of bags and glass vials, along with other strange objects such as a blue piece of chalk and a large marble, in which I could see a strange green mist.

They walked over to the room where Cathari Sarad was sleeping unaware. Between several of the large jars filled with grain, they slept, and Makeyejr calmly took out the chalk and begin to draw a circle of symbols around them, then sprinkled about a few dusts from the different bags. As they continued this slow, careful ritual, I noticed strange shadows on the wall, but I was too distracted watching Makeyejr bend down, and then breath through the marble onto Cathari Sarad. Green mist flew from the marble and floated down onto the unsuspecting deduction expert, and then dissolved right into their body. Their veins then glowed blue for a moment before Makeyejr finished the ritual by painting a symbol on their neck.

I had pictures of the entire process, and I fully intend to review them later. Unfortunately, I do not believe that was all, however, as Makeyejr had the mist ball raised when one of the Cursed tried to push a jar on top of them. Makeyejr dove aside in shock as the Cursed charged for Cathari Sarad, but then recoiled in pain, smoke rising from their scales as they began to flake off.

Had this night have ended there, I would have known never to play Poker with Makeyejr again. They watched calmly as two more of the Cursed arrived and helped the weakened one to get up. They then all turned to Makeyejr, taking in his outfit, and realized what had happened. At this point, Cathari Sarad had woken, and watched as Makeyejr lifted a talisman piece surrounded by what seemed to be a net of blue energy, and spoke calmly to the Cursed, offering to cure them.

The Cursed, seeing the talisman piece, forgot all about Makeyejr's words and charged. Cathari Sarad grabbed one of them, and the Cursed flailed around wildly as its scales seemed to begin to melt off from the intense power of Makeyejr's protection. I, realizing how crucial this was, jumped for the original, but they managed to throw me to the side. I raced instead for the uninjured one and grabbed its legs, trying to keep it back. Unfortunately, it was quite strong enough to pull me away, then lift me into the air with one hand. At least I got its attention, I guess.

It then threw me straight at Makeyejr, and we both went flying across the room. The talisman piece left a deep cut in my shoulder, and the strange sphere that Makeyejr had been holding rolled towards the first Cursed, who picked it up and glared at me with pure rage.

I, recalling that I was immortal, tried to stand in front of Makeyejr, but they, as calm as ever, pushed me to the side. I then watched in shock as the monster threw the sphere at Makeyejr. It crashed into his stomach and went straight through him like a ghost, but when it left, its mist was gone, having fled into a host. Their skin began to shine with blue light, and then their eyes glowed fiercely. Then, bit by bit, he started to collapse and fade, and glow brighter and brighter. Within a few seconds, all that was left of that strange man was his clothing and equipment, surrounded by a green mist.

In shock, Cathari released the Cursed, which then fled. The other two, realizing that they could hurt neither of us, slowly walked away. I rushed over to the remains and desperately searched for the supplies. They were mostly there, but the sphere, unfortunately, appears devoid of power. I do not think I can replace them. I was about to leave when I noticed the talisman piece, and recalled the cut on my shoulder. The flesh around it is scaly.

Though the net, which I believe to be some sort of ward, remains around the talisman piece, I am not sure whether the curse has spread to me or not. Either way, it doesn't really matter. I will die before I become like these monsters.

When the others arrived, I explained to them the situation and showed the photos. Then, as we were going to carry Makeyejr's outfit and supplies out of the room, we heard a curse. Looking up, we saw The Mike, a chain around his foot securing him to the roof.

"Oh yeah," Nine Tailed Cat said. "I forgot to mention I'd done that, didn't I?"

Makeyejr, Believer, has perished, I sphere. The Mike is just hanging around, and cannot cast votes or perform night actions until the start of day 5.

Day 4 will end when everyone has voted, the majority of people have voted for one person, or 72 hours have elapsed. Day 4 will not end when someone votes for themselves, but such a vote will count for twice as much.

Now, let's see... Of the remaining players, all except Cathari, Knowlessman and myself have about a one in three chance of being villains. Knowlessman has... maybe a one in nine chance (base chance of one-in-three, one-in-three chance of being shielded if Cursed)? I sure hope we can narrow down the pool of suspects from there.

I don't know how much this will change your calculations, but I lied about my suspect probability for Knowlessman. I actually can read roles. Knowlessman came up as a volunteer. My actual probability at the time was 5/6 or something like that. It's probably lower now since there are less players/volunteers. Now that doc's dead it's time the truth about this came out.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand majority.

FROM THE JOURNAL OF JOHN E. NOLYNCH, AUGUST 1ST

I hold now two pieces of the talisman, each a promise of freedom if we find the other four. However, the cost of getting even this third was too much.

In the early morn, Cathari Sarad noticed some burns on The Space Phantom's arm and grabbed him. The Space Phantom hissed and pulled away, then threw Cathari against a wall and tried to run. As The Space Phantom ran into the hall of mirrors, Nine Tailed Cat set off some explosives hidden behind the mirrors, causing them to shatter into shards of glass that pierced The Space Phantom, who headed for Nine Tailed Cat and tried to strange him. However, then, the Falkon grabbed several large shards and stabbed them into The Space Phantom's back. They bounced off his skin, however, as it grew thick, scaly, and dark green. I watched in horror from the distance, snapping as many photos as I could and earning me many glarres from all parties.

As The Space Phantom released Nine Tailed Cat, he started striking out at everyone in range. Cathari Sarad, Nine Tailed Cat, and Falkon struggled to stay out of reach of the lizardmans's claws, but then it pinned Falkon and Nine Tailed Cat against the wall, and threw them at Cathari Sarad. The three, all injured by glass, slowly backed away from the monster, until fortunately Rvdz walked up behind me and casually pushed me in front of The Space Phantom, who took a moment to rip me to shreds.

By the time I recovered, everyone was gone. I raced through the temple searching for anyone else, but found the place abandoned. I eventually stumbled across the balcony with all the gold statues. At the bottom of the pit the balcony stood over, I saw Cathari Sarad, Nine Tailed Cat, Falkon, and Rvdz backing away from a Cursed standing in front of the doorway. Frantically, I tried to push a statue over, but they're way heavier than they appear, and I slipped and almost tumbled over the edge. As I was getting up, I noticed that behind the Cursed, Earl of Sandvich stood, holding a sword that was going right through the Cursed's stomach. It tried to get free, but then the others charged. Cathari Sarad's protected fists were enough to weaken the Cursed, Nine Tailed Cat's oil on the ground kept the beast off-balance and unable to defend itself, and after Falkon stabbed the glass shards he had been carrying into the monster's eyes, it was left open to Earl of Sandvich's sword attacks.

I watched in fascination until I noticed Rvdz throwing a rope up at me. Swinging the rope wildly, he pulled me off the balcony, and when I landed, breaking my spine, he threw me at the monster. Due to freak luck, my lens cap bounced off of Earl of Sandvich's sword, bounced off the oily ground, was accidentally punched by Cathari, and went flying right toward's the creature's eye, hitting one of the glass shards so hard that it went through the monster's head.

As The Space Phantom fell to the ground, dead, his skin began to return to normal in some places. However, before long, he ended up trapped in a state between Cursed and human. We removed the talisman's piece, but the body didn't shift back in full.

To protect me from the pieces that I was tasked with keeping, Nine Tailed Cat coated them in oil and Cathari Sarad told me how best to avoid their influences. I realize that trusting people with this sort of thing is risky, but I need all the help I can get, especially with the scales around my wound.

I have just recalled where I may have left the journal entry. I must go to find it quickly. The sooner we escape from this damned place the better, especially now that the only protection Cathari Sarad and Nine Tailed Cat had is gone...

The Space Phantom, Cursed, was piced on and had his lifespan capped.

Night 4 will end when all active power roles and scum have sent in night actions or 48 hours have elapsed.

Sorry about the late update. Came down with something and wasn't sure that I what I was writing wasn't gibberish for a while.

FROM THE JOURNAL OF JOHN E. NOLYNCH, AUGUST 2ND

Fear fills my heart as I wait impatiently. I know that time is running out, and things have just gotten worse. We may not last two full days at this rate. At the same time, I know I will not be trapped for long. There is hope, but I grow wary. Two of the seven remaining are likely afflicted by the curse, and at this point, all that's left to find them is pure deduction and luck.

I returned to the room of hexagons last night to continue my search, and I was amazed by what I discovered. As I pressed my hand against one of the tiles, it moved back a bit, and some of the stone became red hot, then began to dissolve, leaving a hole shaped almost like a feather in the tile. Past the hole, I could see some sort of passage, but before I could investigate it, the hole had sealed up and the tile had clicked forwards again.

I was going to try again, but then I heard a crack, sounding like it came from the room with the huge statue of a demon sitting in a pool of water. I raced to investigate, and standing there, at the base of the statue, there was Cathari Sarad, dodging attacks from one of the Cursed with shocking precision. The monster still had the wounds from its last attack, but it was nonetheless persistent in its attempts to kill Cathari Sarad. Recalling the crack, I looked down at the grate in front of the statue, through which thee water left. It had been badly damaged in the fight, and now it threatened to be pulled down into wherever the water flowed. I ran forwards, but then, from the waterfall that filled the pool, an uninjured Cursed dropped and ran for Cathari. In shock, I forgot that these waters were home to a variety of, in many cases venomous, water snakes.

After being bitten and perhaps killed, although I really can't say, I woke to find myself alone in the room, and the grate gone. I looked around in confusion and shouted for help, but I forgot just how noisy running water is. It was a miracle I heard the crack in the first place. I was about to go get the others for an investigation when I noticed one of the snakes swimming towards the drain, and then getting sucked down it. An idea occurred to me, and I ran towards the drain and jumped down, completely forgetting that while I couldn't be killed for good, being dragged along by icy water and slammed against walls could still be rather unpleasant.

When I emerged at the bottom, I found myself in some massive cavern. I was up to my knees in water, and surrounded by five times as many animals as I would have been back in the temple. The water seemed to glow faintly, and shifted between being green, black, and blue with little apparent reason, each change bringing a shift in its temperature. During my exploration, I eventually discovered the body of Cathari Sarad, who had been beaten to death with an oversized magnifying glass. I frantically searched for their piece of the talisman, and eventually found it further downstream. However, as I picked it up, my injured shoulder started to hurt, and I've began to develop headaches. I fear for my future should I be unable to escape.

By following the tunnels up, I eventually emerged to where the waterfall started and landed back in the temple, where I found the others gathered around Rvdz, who was struggling to get his foot free from some strange goo that Nine Tailed Cat referred to as "snooper glue." I've been trying to pretend ever since that there wasn't a terrible pun there, but alas, no luck.

After blocking off the water near the drain and lowering a ladder into the tunnel system below, I showed the others the corpse of Cathari Sarad. After investigating it, they came to the conclusion they had already reached about what he was. There is now no doubt that we are in very grave danger, but one of the Cursed is already dead and we may be free in a matter of days. I will explore constantly if I must, but I do not want to be here when the Cursed strike their final blow. If they get me alone, they may be able to remove my armband, and I worry that I may die then.

All I can do now is have faith. Faith, cunning, and luck, really. After all, it's not like the first one's going to happen either.

Cathari Sarad, Deducer, died in a clueched manner. Rvdz is feeling very glued about himself, and cannot cast votes or perform night actions until the start of day 6.

Day 5 will end when everyone has voted, the majority of people have voted for one person, or 72 hours have elapsed. Day 5 will not end when someone votes for themselves, but such a vote will count for twice as much.
