I've heard Shin gives a significantly better accounting of himself in the Super manga than the anime.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"×6
Who are Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta fighting at the start of the trailer?

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Yeah. The plot seems to shit on Shin pretty hard, but he was thrust into a job he wasn't properly trained for, while dealing with people who don't really listen to anyone (Goku and Vegeta).
More to the point, the only reason he was forced into said job he was untrained for was because the other dudes help were killed, and the reason they were killed is because they were put into a job that someone else was supposed to be doing. Why?
Because a stupid fucking Cat god put him in a sword, and then went to sleep when he should have been awake to stop Buu! That's why!
Shin is just bad at his job because no-one taught him how to do it right (and it's not even supposed to be his job). Beerus is fucking lazy and should take far more of the blame as far as I'm concerned.
One Strip! One Strip!Yes, he is braver and takes more direct confrontation with Zamasu... but it leads to him being defeated pretty easily. Also, Beerus likes to take the piss at him more often in the manga.
King Vegeta looks like Captain Harlock. I love it.That's Universe 3 trump card.
You know, I imagine Team Four Star will make Shin an ever bigger loser than Yamcha, considering that 1) is inept, 2) is already sort of a Butt-Monkey by the likes of the villains (Babidi, Zamasu, Beerus too) and 3) The being responsible for killing his best friends (and possibly family) became part of the good guys (Just like how Yamcha got cucked by his murderer).
Shin is the Yamcha of the gods. Keep in mind I'm fond of him because of this, because of his cute appereance he just screams "Woobie" to me.

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Aniraza, the gigantic U3 ace in the hole.
Honestly, I'm not seeing a huge resemblance between him and Hatchiyack. There's the head shape, I guess, but Hatchiyack's head is much taller. The locations of the crystal things is commonplace in almost all designs that use those crystal things.

Honestly, both the manga and the anime missed a chance to sort of make Trunks a sort of pseudo-kai. I think considering his enemy was one too, he should have become a sort of apprentice to Shin at some point and gotten one of those snazzy Kai outfits, so he could be a more effective foil. Shin is the only guy left in his timeline who could really help Trunks train at all.

"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Not really, Trunks as he is now is the perfect foil to Zamasu: both are pretty boys who time traveled in order to change something, and swordfighters. However, Trunks did it to save the future, go there, while Zamasu went to the future in order to kill everyone for "justice and the ineptitude of the gods".
Both characters are sinners, but one did it for the betetr good, and the other was delusional.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Delusional about what?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Holy shit, U3's Ace is just Hatchiyak.
My various fanfics. Not really. Other then the Orbs he looks nothing like him. (And lots of DBZ villains have those orbs on their body.)
The arms look very similar as well.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Yep, I'm siding with Bergamo here. No question about it. He's the hero here.
Freeza had the same arms.
It's a Toriyama design element for lots of things.
They also look similar to Freeza's arms. Hatchiyack stole a lot from Freeza, design-wise.
He really is. There aren't many bad people in the Tournament of Power.

+ yeah, but it isn't as noticable since Freeza's very small.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"The difference between Hatchiyack and Aniraza in size is larger than the difference between Freeza and Hatchiyack.
I guess I should clarify. Universe nine are cheating thugs, I was just rooting for Bergamo anyway because what he said made perfect sense, even if he had ulterior motives. I don't see how anyone could watch that fight and think that it would be a good thing for Goku to win it.

No it wasn't. They could still do something before retiring considering we haven't reach the epilogue that was already retconned by not having peace between Boo and Oob.
It was a pipe dream once it became obvious that the writers care more about nostalgia and fanservice than developing their new characters/using the most logical choices.
It's not like Goten and K. Trunks were particularly great characters to begin with.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Neither are the ones they're choosing bring back. At least they had room to develop and be fresh, and made more sense with the plot.

Hatchiyack does have a giant transformation, as well as a super form and multi-form. And if you want to take Heroes into account, a Majin and Baby form too.

Gavan, Let's get jiggy!I don't think anyone was rooting Goku in that fight.
Bergamo was the true hero of that battle.
Also Trunks & Goten did have potential.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."x6 I don't think it's suppose to be seen as good for Kakarrot...

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I'd take Roshi, 17 and 18 and Buu over more bloody Saiyans any day. I would throw in Tien to that list if they ever bothered to do anything with him except humiliate him.
Goten's boring as all hell and K. Trunks is smug and obnoxious without having anything to back it up.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"
At this point you have to remember Shin may be cute, but he is incompetent at his job because he wasn't properly trained. There is a reason he is not invited to the Time Nest while Old Kai is. He is the god of ineptitude, and is fitting he shares his life with Beerus.
