I think the last two panels can be cut out, it's pretty irrelevant.

We don't need any panels from . I don't see how any combination of them would be anything but confusing, and probably crazy tall too.

That works. It first shows what looks like a romantic confession, then subverts it with the "like everyone" thing. Which is the typical use of the trope.

I like that too...the only issue would be the legibility of the last speech bubble in the second panel (I can read it, but others might not).

I can read the last bubble too, although I do have to squint a little. However, I don't think it's much of an issue as the relevant bits to the trope are easy enough to read.
