From what I read those forums go off-topic too sometimes. Not that I couldn't spend a lot of pages gushing about Tali or anything.
Judging by the other multiplayer DLC, the Collectors will probably show up in a future paid single player DLC. You just don't make a completely new set of enemies, make them possessable by the Big Bad who never got any screen time, and just leave it multiplayer exclusive.

Omega is near the Collector base. I'm willing to bet that we'll see them in the next DLC.

Thing is the Collectors abandoned the base after Shepard's trip to there. Then Cerberus set up shop past the Omega 4, which is where they created the adjutants.
So we'll definitely be getting Cerberus on Omega, maybe Reapers, but there's not much guarantee for Collectors.

Except no. We only destroyed one of their ships and the base. There's at least one, maybe two other ships out there at the end of ME 2.
