That sounds awesome. I'm going to add Bioware points and try it out now...

...Speaking of the Groundside Resistance pack, one thing I really liked about Mass Effect 3 was its arsenal. With the cheap-to-free weapon packs, each species (and Cerberus) has its own unique style of weapons, but only some species have their own entire armories; the rest instead have a few specialized weapons for special forces (that suit the hat of the species) and just buy from the (turian-controlled) Terminus megacorps (Elkoss Combine and Elanus Risk Control) for everything else.
For example, krogan weaponry (Claymore, Graal, Striker, Executioner, Punisher) is heavy, slow, blocky, has low capacity, is effective against armor, and fires really big bullets. Also notable: they don't have sniper rifles.
Turian weaponry (Phaeston and Krysae) has this design to it that I can't really describe, but you know it when you see it. It's heavy but is generally high quality and Boring, but Practical. It's accurate, powerful, and somewhat heavy. For pistols and shotguns they just buy from the turian-owned Terminus megacorp Elanus Risk Control.
Geth weaponry (Pulse Rifle, Plasma Shotgun, Plasma SMG, Spitfire, Javelin), on the other hand, is light, sleek, silver, fires plasma / phasic ammunition, has a high rate of fire, is effective against shields, and have high capacities and usually some kind of bonus for holding down the fire button.
Quarian weaponry (Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle, Reegar Carbine, Arc Pistol, Arc Grenade) is experimental and fires electricity for devastating damage against synthetics. For anything other than these few specialized firearms, they just use whatever they can get, from Elkoss Combine to Ariake weaponry. The look of the weapons also give them the feeling that they are unfinished or experimental.
Salarian weapons (Scorpion, Venom, Sticky Grenade) are all sleek and white and shoot blue sticky grenades. Not a lot else to say; for their normal military they just buy from Ariake or Elkoss Combine.
Asari weaponry (Acolyte and Dicsiple) is also sleek and white. It doesn't do a lot of damage but is good for supporting the abilities of biotics. The Acolyte is good at stripping shields and the light weight and relative long range of the Disciple makes it useful for picking off basic "trooper" enemies like Cannibals that an asari wouldn't want to waste biotics on, or just finishing off injured enemies. For their normal military they just use a mix of human and turian weapons.
Collector weaponry (Collector Assault Rifle, Collector SMG, Collector Sniper Rifle) has a creepy organic look to it, and has high (spare) capacities and moderate damage. They don't use any weapons but their own.
Batarian weaponry (Kishock Harpoon Gun, Ballistic Blades, AT-12 Raider) is like krogan weaponry; brutish, powerful, and short ranged. For everything else, there's the Terminus megacorps.
Cerberus weaponry (Harrier, Hornet, Talon, Raptor, Eviscerator) is distinguished by its white color, sleek build, and the fact they usually have a Cerberus logo on them. They are all high tech and high tier. Their weaponry is varied and powerful. Once again, they only use their own weapons.

...Same here. It's a nice touch to finally see how other species design their guns and ships.

#IceBearForPresidentWe do get to see their ships and stuff. It's not a big part of the game, but I can clearly tell a geth figher apart from a turian one, or a quarian dreadnought apart from a human dreadnought.
...Yeah, but we don't see enough!
#IceBearForPresidentMaybe. I'd say that the problem was that Mass Effect didn't have space combat, but space combat in Mass Effect is canonically boring anyway.
I still appreciate each species having their own unique set of weapons. But humanity has to be a hog and get three sets.

...I just remembered: we never did get a squadmate to fill Thane's room. C'mon Bioware! Give us a batarian!
#IceBearForPresidentI might buy it. Especially if he came with a batarian assault rifle and didn't cost ten dollars. His power set would probably be [Ballistic Blades, Submission Net, Blade Armor, Frag Grenade, Batarian Enforcer].

...I'm imagining if Aria becomes a permanent companion, she'd take Thane's room.
Probably won't happen, though.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Cut dialogue would both support and rebuke that theory. However, let's think about this for a second; what's the likelihood that everyone on Omega isn't either dead or indoctrinated?
Then again, she does have that merc army to run.
...Aria was boring.
It's not over. Not yet.To each their own.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.I liked Aria. But the chances of her being a permanent squadmate are about zero.
A batarian squadmate would be pretty cool, if only because we've never had a batarian squadmate. I'd hope he doesn't come off as an expy of Zaeed.

...Admit it. A batarian that's basically a four eyed Zaeed would be cool.

#IceBearForPresidentAnd ironic.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Goddamn humans.
It's not over. Not yet.If I had known there was going to be another DLC coming out in a month I wouldn't have started the damn game.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Marauder Shields 36 is out! Three versions of it. Version A (Spacer Shepard). Version B (Colonist). Version C (Earthborn).
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. You just had to ruin my week.
Damn, yesterday was god-tier.
I want to like Marauder Shields. I really do. But the thing it's based on (see the name) is just so fucking stupid.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."See, I don't really mind it that much, having a dumb name. I mean, Sonic The Hedgehog is about a supersonic blue hedgehog, but the serious entries in that series were some of my fondest nostalgic video game memory things!
...
Kind of! But then, I liked Sonic Heroes, so my opinion is likely invalid, or something.
Anyhow, I really don't get the hate for Marauder Shields, the art is high quality, it's full of cool moments, all fiction is equally non-real, and it makes way more sense than the actual endings.
Get out
Donate money to Skullgirls, get a sweet poster.Marauder Shields is awesome. Even Bio Ware agrees that it's awesome.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Since when their opnion is worth shit?
Also,
-replaying the Tuchanka mission- Well, that's disappointing. I didn't realize that the reaper destroyer would only shoot down the pillars as you passed them, but never actually try to kill you. Standing out in the open? Motionless.
Also, the Venom is insane. A direct hit from a charged shot looks to out-damage the Claymore. I don't know how it performs on Insanity, but on Normal, it just insta-killed two Brutes at once. Add Warp Ammo and Tactical Cloak, and it can one-shot a Banshee.
