That description is way too long and I wonder how many different people wrote it. Can we just make a useful notes page on how actual sociopathy works and then just focus on the trope while linking that page for people who might be interested in how it actually works?
...Christ, I'd posted that it was way too long when I wasn't even halfway through. And it's like the paragraphs alternate between actual useful information and SOCIOPATHS ARE EEEEEEEVIL!

Even a useful notes page would need to be re-worked from the ground up. While I'm no authority on the subject matter I've studied into Sociopaths enough to know a lot of this is utter crap and stereotypes.

I think not long ago it used to be about half the length it is now and had much less SOCIOPATHS ARE EEEEEEVIL garbage in it.

It seems to be just one troper, actually, if the edit history is anything to go by. The edits seem to be fairly recent too.

Holy cow. That's a guy with a mission, and his mission is to make the article utterly unreadable. Remember5th O November is the name. Suspension is the game, and he's earned it. Let's revert the description to something sane. Give me a sec.

Not sure. I didn't take the time to look, but I am locking the article. I'm going to do a short writeup and make it the official description, then we can move forward on the question of a Useful Notes article.

I was going to say if we're using the word somewhat differently than what the personality actually entails we should probably have a useful notes page on the actual disorder, but it already links to Lack of Empathy which is probably enough. We could just note that it's kind of like Hollywood Sociopathy. Or not.

I didn't find UsefulNotes.Sociopathy but we do have UsefulNotes.Lack Of Empathy. It seems that they would be redundant.
Edit: slightly ninjaed. I also unlocked The Sociopath now that I suspended the guy primarily responsible for the mess and left a mod comment.

The Sociopath needs clean up it's a trope page that's written like a useful notes, but even the Useful Notes part has a ton of questionable information. Which seems to make the mistake that All Sociopaths are serial killer / criminals, which is fine for the trope part but the page is trying to pass it off like it's the reality when there is still a lot of debate on the issue. Also it's massive Wall of Text.
