Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!

Going through Chris's route. My opinion of Chris is a little better since she acts a little better during her route, but ugh, Yamato. It's less awful than I imagined but what the hell, man.

On a side note, hearing all these familiar voices in H-scenes is a little... surreal.

Got to the first H scene I take it? That made me just stop in disbelief for a moment.

Anyway, I'm done with Chris's route. Distasteful first H-scene aside, it was okay. The battle at the end felt a bit shoehorned and anticlimactic, but I liked Chris and Yamato's relationship. I admit that I have a fondness for idiot couples though.

Also, the H-scenes are ridiculous. And some of them go a lot longer than I'd like.

I need to learn that Potholing can be your friend. And I still need to start on Momo's route. It's just staring at me, waiting to be read...

I like Momoyo's route a lot, especially with how Yamato behaved.

Anyway, have you read Wanko's route yet? Couple things annoyed me about that one.

Momoyo's route is my favourite. It features the protagonist improving himself, rather than just catering to the girl and generally being nothing more than a pair of hands to lead the girl away from her deep, deep troubles and groping her boobs when that's done with.

Finished Wanko's and Momoyo's routes earlier today. Momoyo's route was excellent; it's almost like it distilled everything that made Majikoi great into that route. Wanko's route was... okay, I guess. Momoyo's route pretty much outshined it in every way.

As for the heroines, I like pretty much everyone except for Miyako and Chris pre-character development. I'm not really fond of Miyako's stalker-like attitude. She's pretty entertaining outside of that, though.

Miyako creeps me out. I hope there's the option of breaking up with her or call her out on being a stalker. I suppose if she wasn't creepy I'd rather like her.

Actually, what I really hope is that she's not the main heroine.

Momoyo's route was a lot of fun, but it really lacked romance. I don't mind though. It was still my favorite.

Miyako is creepy. However, it really takes the edge of it that she actually backs down when Yamato gets involved with someone else. Well, outwards, at least.

Momoyo's route lacked romance? Well, I suppose it lacked the classical type of romance, but I got a lot from how they interact with each other. Considering how confident and direct Momoyo is (normally), it would be kind of weird to have most of the typical romance details.

I'm guessing the after story has the romance stuff. Well, I don't mind either.

Romance as in the H-scenes? The answer is yes.

The way Miyako backed down was creepy as well. She basically just goes 'Well, I won't get in his way, but I'll be openly itching for his failure and if he does screw it up I'll snag him on the rebound. If he doesn't screw up I'll just remain alone forever.'

Parts of Momoyo's route contained romance, but it seemed rather one sided for the most part. That's not to say I can't understand why Momoyo likes him, it just seemed like a story about two individuals doing their thing rather than one about a romance. Perhaps there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not quite what I'm used to seeing.

Anyway, I'm actually looking forward to the side stories. I want to know what Blond Sachi's story is. Can't remember her name.

Someone is translating Majikoi S, or at least just the trial version for now. You can track his progress on the VN threads on /vg/. It's pretty fascinating to actually see how translation works from behind the scenes.

That's certainly good news. It's something I'd love to see completed, especially as I never expected any translation at all.

Majikoi S prologue patch is apparently out.

I'm surprised their translation is moving so quickly, personally. Is Majikoi S really short or something?

Pun-kun's only doing the trial. For now, at least, since he's a new translator and he's also not confident about doing the H-scenes, which apparently is 80% of Majikoi S.

Hm? But there's five new routes. I know there are all the extra H scenes that probably nobody cares about but those routes have to be a sizable portion of the total.

Actually from what I hear (on /vg/ at least, don't take my word for it), people are looking forward more for the sex scenes than the plot. Or something. It's apparently 80% H and 20% new plot content.

...Why?

You think Majikoi's humour being around 60% sexually-charged jokes and the H-scenes lasting more than 10 minutes long would've clued you in on that.

In any case, the upcoming Majikoi A apparently has much more new content that's not H.
