Maybe Crabman has been reading My Hero Academia.
Reaction Image RepositoryNaah, Tsuyu is way cuter. This one reminds me of a hotter and sexier Anura... you know, the frog girl from the defunct browser game.
Speaking of that one, I really hope we'll get some cameo of those game girls, I wouldn't like them to be totally forgotten.
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.53 in English. The usual place, thread 160787422
So 53 connects a lot of the last 10 or so chapters together into a conclusive reveal. Very nice to see, and the chapter itself contains a lot of interesting stuff.
Well, that certainly wraps a lot of stuff up. It's still a bit... shady, but it's a step up from what was initially being implied.
Reaction Image RepositoryChapter 54 is out.
The mystery giant from last chapter is revealed to be a Slime race like Suu, but far uglier in its default form. After a mishap, it takes a shape similar to Giant Suu from the Kii chapter. Suu goes giant to fight it.

For some reason, I want to read a chapter about Slime's reactions to all sorts of substances.
With a '0', not an 'O'A continuation of things like Seawater Suu or Mineral Suu from the hot spring? I'd be down with that.
It's been fun."And this compound is derived from the secretions of jellyfish. It is prized for its medicinal properties, and is also believed to be a potent aphrodisiac."
-grabs bottle and launches it over the horizon-
Reaction Image RepositorySo what substances have we currently seen Slimes absorb?
- Seawater
- Mineral Water
- Fertilizer
- Poisonous plants and animals
- Nectar
- Toxic Waste
- Royal Jelly
…And various bodily fluids, especially female ones.
Speaking of which, I don't think we've seen Slime absorb Eel Girl slime.
With a '0', not an 'O'What do you mean "especially"? I don't think we've ever seen her deliberately absorb anything off of a guy.
Reaction Image RepositoryDidn't she assault Darling-kun a couple of times? Though I guess sweat counts as water… unless…

I'm pretty sure that only happened in the original strips.
Where the slime girl primarily subsisted on water and "a little protein".
If you know what I mean.
She's accidentally nearly drowned him a few times, but I can't remember any time aside from maybe her debut chapter where she was trying to absorb sweat or anything off of him.
Reaction Image RepositoryLots of reactions about 25 pages in. Thankfully, you don't have to go to the usual place. Chapter 55: https://m.imgur.com/a/iVJ1m
Based on the name on the cellphone, it looks like the broker is Director's kid brother
Oh look Rachne's being useful again.
Secret SignatureNot gonna lie, as soon as the vacuum came into play I fully expected for it to end up on a nipple. Also, I did not believe for a second that Suu was going to be dissolved or whatever.
Reaction Image RepositoryChapter 55, now in English!
About time. Kinda figured that Suu wasn't going to die, because come on seriously. Cerea and Miia doing live commentary might be my favorite part of the chapter.
Reaction Image RepositoryOkayado must really like that gag since there was live commentary during the fight between Cerea and her mother too, and probably elsewhere.
Thoughts on future chapters? I hope we'll be back to slice-of-life stuff, I think Crabman can do these better than the action/suspense chapters. I hope we'll get to see the other mothers too.
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.The manga can conceptually go on forever, so speculating on the future is rather difficult.
I would like to meet the other mothers, yeah. In before Rachnera's mother is the most retiring and gentle woman in the world.
That said, yeah, I'm not a huge fan of when slice-of-life series do these suddenly huge action plots. This one isn't so bad since the girls getting into shenanigans has always been part of the series, but most times there's no impact because Like You Would Really Do It is in full effect for any parts that would actually negatively affect the core status quo.
It's been fun.
Like I said, I get the feeling those pages are at least a little out of order.
Seconding the frog girl, though, damn.
It's been fun.
