Yes, you can actually buy other super power trees as you gain SPX. Some are more expensive to purchase than others, but there's "Bone Shaping" and there is "Necromancy," "Occult Sorcery," etc, etc. Regular transformation is in there as well.
~Glares at the mention of D&D, and holds his rusty axe, looking about with wild eyes.~
TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without MercyAight, I'll do that later but for now all of the powers would be in the metamorphic category.
♌Ack. I spent all night staring at this, trying to flesh it out, maybe making the powers a little less horribly vague, but... Gah. >.< Oh well, I suppose it will do for now, but I'm not entirely happy with what I have down. Hurm.
...Also I was going to make note of the fact that she doesn't use a supranym, like a few other magical superheroes, but... No-one else seems to be using them, so that idea kinda went out the window. >.<
- Name: Altria Imboca
- Age: 16
- Gender: Female
- Race: Human
- Appearance: Because it's really easier to just find a matching picture rather than spend five or so lines explaining what she looks like and still have everyone get it wrong◊.*
- Personality: Coolheaded and analytical. Altria is a hardworker and always tries her best at anything she does, although she can be a little too competitive at times. She looks down upon those who rely solely on natural talent and abilities, as she believes hard work and training will allow anyone to surpass the naturally gifted. Whilst she can come off as rather cold and stoic, she's usually has the best interests of everyone at heart, and generally tries to make sure everyone is doing okay.
- Class: Mage
- Powers: Through various occults magicks and pacts with otherwordly creatures, Altria is able to summon forth spirits, demons and monsters to do her bidding.
- Other: The latest in a long line of Imboca summoners. She's trained hard to achieve her powers, and it annoys her quite a bit that some people don't have to work for theirs and are either born with them or receive them as an accident.
Excellent. I'll give you the Occult Sorcery powers tree, and periodically give you extra monster summoning spells. With the way the background is, it would probably be that you had practiced and summoned a few, but after the effects of the bomb, your powers only grew stronger. You'd probably take this as a sign that you are favored by the spirits from beyond.
TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without Mercy~Huffs.~ After I finish off the next two sheets, I guess I could go ahead and start with an OP, huh? 'Less someone's still working on a character, (but we do have five.)
TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without MercyI just wanted to add a weakness to cold for my character, if possible.

This is the signup, not the discussion.
Oh, there are disadvantages that can cover a bit of hubris. Like "Own Authority," where you're not really good at taking orders from others in combat, but you can learn and use your own leadership skills to help them. Or "Loner" which is a sort of "shut out-shut in" sort of thing, and disallows any leadership abilities.
I'll add your weakness to ice.
Speaking of Discussion, all of the characters are posted. Anyone need anything changed?

TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without MercyI've written enough for now, I think. So here it is, my OP for the RP.

TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without MercyWe may need to fill a slot back up...
TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without MercyTwo questions: Are there still openings? And would Student basically be defined as a Science Hero?
Trump delenda estCan be. Students are a knowledge-based class, so they're an excellent way to start a science hero. Or a traps hero. Or a computer hero... wait... uhm, anyway... really quite good way to start out for most modern-day characters anyway. (I.E: Indiana Jones may be a Tresure Hunter now, but he obviously has a good number of masteries in the knowledge-based classes, which start with Student.)
Also, it seems we do have one spot.
TimewarpVortex - Role-Play Without MercyOkay, will submit something in a couple of days.
Trump delenda estOy, here goes:
Name: Kyle Gillian
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Race: Orc
Appearance: (If you have a different idea for what Orcs look like feel free to substitute, otherwise here's mine) 5'6", stocky build, hairlees, leathery grey-green skin, yellow eyes, shot tusks
Personality: See History
Class: Student
Powers: Awesomeness by Analysis. He can look at any technological device, puzzle etc and in a few seconds tell you the basics of how it works. given a few minutes he cantake it apart and rebuild it with his eyes closed. Given a half hour or more he can improve it. You may or may not want to apply this (at least at higher levels) to Magyvering and/or tactical analysis. Or you may want to substitute one of these for the first option.
History: Before the attack Kyle was an amiably stupid college athlete at school on a soccer (or this planet's equivalent) scholarship. After waking up he found himself a lot more focused, noticing and analyzing everything. This has produced moodswings in which he can go from a mellow slacker to a near sociopathic coldbloodedness, occasionally at innoportune moments.
Weakness: See History.

Trump delenda estHm, there aren't any open spots are there? This looks interesting.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlUnfortunately if it's not dead then it appears to be on life support.

Well I do stalk you cross forums, by accident, so...
The transformation stuff is actually just supposed to be part of a broad category of powers since Andrea can shape and use her life force at will as time passes. Could I 'cross class' in terms of powers I can take? Like, if there are necromancyish powers as well those would fit well.
