Glad to see in a dark way, April and Donnie back to normal (sadly at the cost of Aesop Amneisa though) as the last episode was Squicky.
Not glad to see this Casey-Donnie BS again, nor the Crocodile Tears the two seem to be shedding over Mikey's treatment of Mrs. O'Neil. Yeah it seems unfounded, but even so...
I like that Mikey gets vindicated though, and The Thing reference.
Best episode since the last finale.
If anyone would like to know how Bebop and Rocksteady come into existence, here you go.

Hmm given that it was explicitly mentioned that the ship is a stealth ship...is it maybe the gangs way back into the city?
"You can reply to this Message!"Apparently, shoulder pads can mutate too.
This is the world of TMNT—mutagen mutates what it wants to mutate, and there ain't a damn thing you can do to tell it otherwise.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.I loved the design of that monster to BITS. Even more when her head split open.
Kind of a cop-out that it "wasn't really" April's mom. We know she has Kraang DNA. It would be so much more dramatic, scary and fun if that were because her actual mother was an actual alien being. I hope that might still be the case, whether her mom turns out to be a good guy or not.
Maybe a Kraang that somehow took actual, biological human form instead of a robot suit, and in the process, developed actual human emotions, so the idea of human forms was scrapped in favor of the robot bodies.
bogleech.com for my writing, comics and cartoons. No clips,...I'm surprised. Well the next one's on tonight, can't wait to watch it when my shift is done (or tomorrow morning)
Actually, I think we have a two week hiatus.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!...Oh damn, seriously? Even though next week's Halloween?
I think they already aired their Halloween episode.
Yeah, "Buried Secrets" was their Halloween episode.

No Usagi episode yet?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! It sounds like they're going to be up in the woods for a while. I figured the turtles would only stay in hiding for three or episodes or so.
I imagine they'll return to New York in a big epic mid-season finale.
Hun's debut

Some kind of dream episode or something. Why is Tiger Claw in Donnie's dream? He's had the least interaction with Tiger Claw.
I don't much care for the route they took with Hun, though I'm kind of finicky about change anyway.
At this point, I'll take any villain that's not a mutant (unless they're evil clones of the turtles) or Shredder or a Kraang species.
I can sympathize with that desire, and maybe Hun is the solution.
Can't say I'm crazy about Hun's new look.
We'll see how it goes. Looks like he's a total badass again though. No more Butt-Monkey for Hun.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I wouldn't really call Hun a butt monkey, unless you count his mutation in Turtles Forever.
By the way, its off-topic, but its a thought I've had for a long time now. Does anybody else think Spike mutating into Slash would've worked better if he had been Mikey's pet instead of Raph's? He's the smallest and unlike his 2003 version, he's arguably the least skilled, which would make sense for him to have a pet to talk to. Then the scene where Raph yells at Donnie for almost blowing up Spike with Mikey replacing Raph might reveal a hidden berserk button or serve as an out of character moment and take the others by surprise and when Slash beats up the other turtles, Mikey could probably give him a "bullying/revenge is wrong" speech and that scene at the end with Mikey looking at the leaf would've finally given us a heartfelt conversation between Mikey and Splinter, especially since he's the only one that hasn't had a conversation like that with Splinter. And since Ice Cream Kitty basically replaced Spike as the sewer pet, Mikey would get a new best friend.
Hmmm. It would be nice to see Mikey as something beyond stupid Comic Relief.
As for new Hun.... he's very different. But I guess, being a totally original character in the first place, they could go in any direction with him. We'll see how it turns out.
One Strip! One Strip!
Not entirely, the more destructive parts of her powers seem to activate when she's in emotional distress. Which actually has a few Unfortunate Implications now that I think about it.
